Well that was just outstanding.. he brought me to tears the way he stayed and shook nearly every soldier’s hand.. as an ex-soldier, let me just say- that is big.. I don’t remember a President caring for our troops the way he, Michelle and the Bidens do- real respect and support, not the bs the republicans spout.

I WATCHED THIS AND MY FAVORITE THO’T IS OF THE PRESIDENT WAVING AT THE RIDERS FROM THE CURB…IT WAS SWEET…HE LOOKED LIKE A DAD SENDING HIS KIDS OFF TO SCHOOL. OF COURSE…TAMMY DUCKWORTH WAS THERE…OUR BRAVE,SACRIFICING MEN AND WOMEN IN OUR MILITARY DESERVE THE VERY BEST IN GRATITUDE THAT WE CAN OFFER!

Thanks Chipsticks, once again, you reminded me and I’m so grateful that you did! It was wonderful! During the ride about the White House, one of the bikers bike malfunction and a couple of bikers got off their bikes to assist and POTUS walked down there to assist also! Talk about a jack of all trades!!! The guy’s bike was operational again and they completed the round-about. Then POTUS stated at one end of the crowd of military people and walked and shook hands all the way to the end and it took at least another 10 minutes!!! Smiles were everywhere – POTUS even signed a Navy man’s “white dress cap”.

I was so proud to see our President surround himself with our military and their family today. Such respect is so deserved by each. Well done Sir!

Does anyone notice how all the cable news channels are sucking up to the president now, trying show live everything he does since Sunday. What a bunch of losers. I don’t trust them. They even showed this event live on CNN and msnbc.

Don’t worry, they’ll be back to their usual selves in about a month when National Military Appreciation Month is over.

    Chips,
Don’t know how you do it but you do a helluva job. Thanks again. Watching Oprah. Freedom Ride episode is on. I tell you as a AA it makes you shed tears. And the media on tv debating about showing Bin Ladens picture. Just why would any body want to see this murderer.
All this speculation is because Bin Laden capture happened on President Obsma’s watch. He earned the credit and there is nothing anybody can do about it. Always having to provide proof for some people. It is the same mentality. And I am sick of it. Just my rant

The third photo from the bottom just makes me melt. Look at the smiles on those faces. They look so happy to see President Obama.

What a beautiful emphatic strong Commander-in-Chief and look at all those heroic military guys and girls. I love my country.

The 4th photo after the video is where POTUS went over to help that rider when the bike malfunctioned. A couple of other riders stopped to assist and the rider was shortly back on it’s way. I guess the vocal support of POUTUS did the trick! Great job Chipsticks – you’re on top of things as usual. 🙂

Thanks Chips, I would have missed this entirely.

He is so touchable and up close and opersonal to the Military. How proud those wounded warriors must feel to show their President what they can accomplish and that they haven’t given up. What a beautiful and compassionate man. He walks the walk and talks the talk and knows how to keep secrets. He intuitively knows what is needed in any given time and must be a great mechanic. What more can I say…….he is so loveable. I thank God for him and our Military.
