Thanks for the heads up Sue. I will tune in to see what his reaction is!

Did you hear his morning reaction?

‘You get to a certain level and you rise to a certain level, let’s say in this case in the polls and boy, does the world come after you.”

…“I really knew what I was getting into last night. I had no idea it would be to that extent where, you know just joke after joke after joke,” the mogul said. “It was almost like, is there anyone else they can talk about?”

…He also found the event “inappropriate in certain respects” and spent the evening thinking about how “the American people are really suffering and we’re all having a good time.” {Was he having a good time? ;)]

“His (Meyers) delivery was not good. He’s a stutterer and he really was having a hard time,” Trump said of the “Saturday Night Live” star.

Notice he hasn’t gone after President Obama all day….maybe he learned his lesson last night….if he’s going to come after him, he better come strong.

        • May 1, 2011 at 8:53 pm

What would a man with no sense of humor no about comic delivery?

          May 1, 2011 at 9:39 pm

He really is a bastard, sorry, because somebody made a joke, he then to accuse him of stuttering. These Washington Correspondents Dinners have been going on for a long time, he didn’t know they were basically roasts.
It’s amazing to me when they say something really offensive and we find out about it they say “hey it was only a joke”, but when a comedian tells jokes about them they are so thin-skinned.

Yes Donald, the same way your jealous, envious self went after President Obama just because he is beloved the world over!!!

You’re nightmare is only just beginning Donald Trump!!!

I heard about Trump being on CNN tonight. Barbara Walters said this man was thin skin and she sure told the truth. He is pitiful. He’s a big bully, who can dish it out, but can’t take it.

just saw the interview with Don, he seemed upset at the end. Didn’t he realize who he was talking to? Poor Don, now completely disillusioned. Trump is an asshole.

Trump: “I have black friends…” Don Lemon should have ended the interview right there.

Don Lemon is pathetic. I actually felt nauseous (sp) after watching. And then he had Tim Wise (whom I thought was supposed to be knowledgeable about racism) and some other character who were falling all over themselves trying to say that Trump is a “good person” and his racism is “unintended”. The do this country and it’s youth a great disservice.

How much money did Trump pay them to help him with this lame Rebuttal? I agree about Don Lemon. He is a weak interviewer and seemed intimidated by that jerk. Lemon should have demanded that Trump provide real evidence that the President was not born in the US, and not accepted this nonsense that “75% of Republicans have doubts” from Trump. Furthermore, Lemon should have told Trump in no uncertain terms that the President had in fact presented REAL evidence of his being born in the US 2 years ago when it was first brought up by the Clintons and the McCains. When Trump continued with his usual nonsense about “oh I got him to release his long form…” Lemon should have said that the release of the long form was Obama’s way of highlighting what the birther issue is really about (race), and to expose the incompetence in some media outlets, and not to satisfy Donald Trump about his birth origins.

Donald Trump failed to explain why he brought up the issue of Obama’s academic records and stated “I personally believe Obamma’s a very smart guy” to side track the issue. Lemon let him get away with this – instead he should have pushed Trump on what concrete evidence he has to support his claim that “Obama was a terrible, terrible student.”

Excellent points – Lemon made me really sick today. Forget about calling for evidence (because there isn’t any – the charges are unfounded). Lemon should have just called him a racist pig and been done with it. Or better yet, he shouldn’t have had him on the show at all.

Sorry hopefruit2, but there should have been NO MORE interviews with Trump, period!!!
Don Lemon or whatever his name is deserved what he got for giving that pig more air time!!!

Chipsticks, could you please get the whole video of Oprah show with POTUS and FLOTUS as we outside the US cannot access to it? I still haven’t been able to see the behind-scene videos from Oprah with Michelle Obama. It’s really not fair for us international supporters of this outstanding, once-in-a life time couple 😦 😥

Last night I had a blast watching live the WHCD and reading TOD family comments. God, that was the smoothest and the biggest can of whoopass ever 🙂 🙂 🙂 PBO is a really master in everything he endeavours!

Chips, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for opening this safe heaven so we can express our admiration and gratitude for having President Barack Obama at the helm during these extraordinary times in world history.

Much Love & Joy to you all ❤ ❤

Can someone please post the Oprah interview since I will not be able to watch it? I will thank you from the bottom of my heart for this.

    • May 1, 2011 at 9:09 pm

Hiya Sel, I’ll do my very best to get the Oprah video, promise!

Have you seen the international friendly (!) behind-the-scenes clip I posted of Michelle and Oprah:

I forgot to copy the other clips, but as far as I can remember they didn’t feature Michelle, just Oprah preparing for her arrival. Will check.

Awww Chipsticks, you’re a Rock Star! Thank you so very very much for what you’re doing here for us!

As for the videos, only if you can spare the time…I’ll feel bad if i give you more work to do.

I check your site more than a dozen times a day…It’s the 1st site I check in the morning and the last before going to bed. There is always great and accurate news here 🙂

        Merci beaucoup 🙂

Tavs Smiley is on Need to Know trying to sell another book. I immediately changed the channel. Someone mentioned earlier to day after I mentioned his commentary on the CBS morning show regarding the birther mess that he did it b/c he porbably had this coming up. Right again. Some people are so predictable.

Sucks to be him at this time. Most AA have no use for him and his ego led him to a position in which he was used in an attempt to drive a wedge between PBO and his supporters. He now has no where to go.

Looking forward to the Oprah interview.

Did you notice at the WHCD that Seth was crushing a bit on FLOTUS? Mentioned that she was beautiful twice.
