That speech…WHEW! I bet politicians and commencement speakers alike are saying “I wish I had made THAT speech!”

Hi Chipsticks and TOD family. Can I just say that Richard Shelby has a lot of f*****g nerve to have his hateful, ugly self there with our President. What gall. And I read where stupid Perry of Texas is complaining that his state is not getting any help. He who bashed the stimulus while taking it to bail out his state. He who has said over and over that he does not need the federal government. To that I say, I wish he and his state of haters would just break off from the rest of the country and become it’s own little hate-filled island.

And of course, our President has been simply magnificent as always.

    Love all you guys.

Hey Proud, it’s sounds like you’re in fighting form and I’m glad to hear it. You are so right about Perry, I saw a clip of him yesterday saying that :”all these other states are getting help and it doesn’t seem like their letters got lost in the mail, I’m just wondering about that.” Meaning of course that PBO is somehow helping everybody else except him for some devious reason. There is something truly comical about idiots like Perry, they always bite the hand that feeds them and curse it when they feel that they aren’t being fed well enough. I prefer to think that there is a special place in hell for Perry and his furry kin.

Hi Lisa, I’m getting there. As I’ve been able to watch bits and pieces of the republican’s latest antics, can I just say I say just when I didn’t think I could hate them more, they do things that make that possible.

“Who is that coughing over there , I heard you. Stay away from my astronauts!”

    Love it.

I was just about to write about that!!! It was so cute and hilarious. Then he was like….”was it you,” with a tough stare: “no sir,” said the reporter, then PBO gives a stern nod and goes back to his conversation with Mark.
ps- that man is too cute 🙂

Like laurie, I’m at a loss for words. What will we do in 2017?

Anniebella, How about Wassermann-Schultz: smart, tough and a strong democrat out of Florida AND a woman.

I’ll jump on Debbie’s wagon….I think she would be a great candidate. The thought of him leaving office is not very comforting.

She’s had a bout of cancer which Repubs will use against her and the fact that she is Jewish (yes we still have a relatively large portion of America who thinks Jews have too much power/control).

First off, it’s good to “hear” from you Proud of Obama. God bless you! Second, I just listened to the space compilation and noticed how easy the Obama’s are to talk with. The astronauts were comfortable yet respectful to both POTUS and FLOTUS.

Thank you, GGail. Yes, the Obama’s just truly love people. I just listened to his commencement speech and was struck by what he told the graduates about lifting someone else up. He said “our lives are richer when everyone has a shot,” or something like that. It made me wonder why republicans are so afraid of other people having a shot at this huge slice of pie that is America which is big enough for all of us to enjoy. I just do not get that.

Greed is a sick disease. It makes one fearful of anyone getting more of anything than they’ve got – and LAWDY don’t let it be a person of color!

Hey Proud, lovely to see here today, hope you’re doing okay?

I also want to say it is nice to have you back…..hope things are progressing well enough, I know it is not easy, and time is a friend and healer.

I have to make a confession, I don’t care for Richard Shelby either, but didn’t immediately recognize him. Jeff Sessions elicits a response in me similar to yours over Shelby. Honestly every time I see him I envision a white hood. The guy makes me sick.

This is probably the most “For Real” president we have ever had in our history.

bjw2, you have said a respectfully true statement. I have seen many, but none like the “For Real.” Thanks for reminding us.
