AS I SAID YESTERDAY…WHAT TRUMP HAS DONE IS DISPICABLE…HE WILL PAY THE PRICE FOR HIS LACK OF RESPECT. ‘PRIDE’ NEVER WINS FOLKS…IT COMES BACK TO HAUNT YA’…THEN IT LEAVES A HOLE IN YOUR POCKET! I AM SO THANKFUL FOR THE ‘HUMILITY’ IN OUR PRESIDENT…IT IS A NICE CHANGE FROM TOO OFTEN ‘WORLDLY BEHAVIOR!’
I was trying to check the Enterprise ad, but couldn’t get to a site showing it for the Apprentice. When people were contacting Beck’s sponsors they ran into some difficulties because sometimes companies buy blocks of ad time, not to sponsor specific sites. All that means is that the company then has to put pressure on the ad companies not to use them to sponsor the offending site. It takes longer, but I would think it is even more effective because it goes up farther in the advertising food chain.
As always, love the good news and action items. Thanks, Chipsticks!
A smart man once said:
“One voice can change a room, and if one voice can change a room, then it can change a city, and if it can change a city, it can change a state, and if it change a state, it can change a nation, and if it can change a nation, it can change the world. Your voice can change the world.”

Boo-tee-full! I see Enterprise Rent-a-Car is next up. And thought it was interesting that Trump responded to the question by an AA reporter from Inside Edition by dismissively saying, “I know you’re a big Obama fan” instead of answering the question. Trump is awful. Wasn’t he bragging a few days ago about his splendid relationship with “The Blacks”? Oopsie.
Please Lord, Jehova, Vishnu, Alla, Peter, Paul and Mary…. let there be more backlash…..I’m begging you: Hit that cheese-ball, nasty, toupe ridden, rat infested man-cow where it really hurts? Right in his non-existent high roller’s bank roll? All this I ask in you’re names, peace and blessings. Amen.
Now Lisa, you do know it doesn’t ‘work’ if you pray for harm, don’t you? Maybe if you prayed for the carnival barker (you need to be specific – there might be another ‘cheese-ball, nasty ….’ out there) to receive his due/reward for his ‘labour’? 😉
I just saw a clip-ette of the Oprah show with POTUS and FLOTUS. Oprah is asking PBO what he wants his legacy to be. And then it hits me and I just feel tears. I’m not interested in him talking about his legacy. He’s still here with us and I really want him to be here with us now and for the next term. We still have a lot of work to do. Can we just live in the present and have that happen? Because I really actually can’t think about him not being President. Not right now.
oh meta, you are not alone in those feelings. But look, you’re right, let’s not think about 6 years from now, lets focus on the here-and-now instead. Let’s make the magic that is his presidency happen again. Let’s retake the House and cement our stronghold on the Senate. Let’s re-build this country and protect all the work that he’s done, so that when he does leave, he leaves it in our trust which we will then entrust to the next trusted Democratic president, who will pass it on to the next and the next, because ultimately, we are his legacy, so are our children and every other Democratic president after him. That’s what’s more important in the end. Even if he’s not president after 6 years, we’ll still have him because you’ll see him and his work in your kids and grandkids, in your neighbors and friends, and you’ll see him in our next Democratic president, because his hopes and dreams are as much a part of us as they are of him. So, let’s hold strong and keep moving.
Lisa, what I find comforting is that even after leaving the White House, Barack Obama will still be with us. He’ll write a couple of books, will get some international assignment, or will go from country to country and have town-halls meetings with young people ( which we’ll be able to watch on youtube), etc… He will stay in public life in a way or another and will continue his work of justice and peace. I’m sure of that.
meta, I understand how you feel. I am so glad he is the President and appreciate him so much. He does something amazing every day.
I’m sure he will do something spectacular after his 8 years are completed. All the Democratic presidents have gone on to do even more for the United States and the world and I’m sure he would do that too. Several times I’ve read people saying he would make a wonderful Supreme Court justice. I don’t know if he would be interested, but that would make a trifecta for him — all three branches of government and the opportunity to keep on being a part of the change the country is going through.
Y E A H, guys this is how’s it done!!!! We go after the MONEY trail. Everything in this country is tied to MONEY..start tampering with the money and people will do exactly what you say to keep that line of cash flowing. NBC is catching a lot of heat right now. Hopefully, this will be a warning to anybody else who decides (in the next 5.5 years) to defame our President.
Can I just ask a simple question? Where are the so-called Black Leaders in the United States? Here it is a beast is talking poop about the First Black President, questioning his education level as if there is something inferior about black people IQ level as compared with whites, demanding this man show his birth certificate; something that NO other President in the history of the United States ever had to do…..and not one person could stand up and say enough is enough? You don’t have to agree with every decision the President makes, you don’t have to be a supporter to say something. Long gone are the days of ‘BLACK LEADERS’ huh…shame shame shame!!!!!!!!! Anyway Thank You Groupon!!
I always wonder where are any Democratic leaders, black or white, who should be speaking out in support of their Democratic President. You would think there would be a stampede with all the ridiculous unfairness that has been going on, demanding the microphone to express their outrage, to defend their President.
Crickets.
Co-sign! It must not be easy fighting these battles all alone Mr President huh? Thank God for Mrs Obama and the girls at least there is personal help AND of course GOD ALMIGHTY; no wonder he keeps on going!
I’ve been looking and there are no Democratic leaders to be seen or heard!!! It’s as if President Obama is all alone in the Democratic party!!! It is sureal and sad!!!
I couldn’t agree with you more, Eleroy…my best friend and I have said this from day one. But that’s alright, this man will (still) go down in history as the greatest president ever…with or without there support…GOD got President Obama’s back and so do we! I’M IN!!!
Eleroy, it is true. He is on his own. Because the “party” is not a party. It is each man is on his own. You disavow him, if you think it will hurt your own chances. It is pretty ugly. I never quite knew it was so ugly.
P, IMO they are wimps, cowards, just like the media. The opposition ‘leaders’ hover in the background muttering vaguely and noncomittally (things like, ‘So he says’, ‘I don’t know’ ‘That’s what the American people believe’) until they see where the die falls in terms of public reaction, then they all swarm. The Democratic ‘leaders’ behave in much the same way – too cowardly to speak up for fear of alienating a vote here or there, or because they secretly covet his position. THey too only swarm when public reaction is pretty obvious. Look at how much has been revealed (Trump’s background with ‘THE BLACKS’), and how many of them (journalists & politicians) are speaking out definitively in the past 24 hours! The call the President versions of ‘weak’ while displaying their own lack of courage daily, hourly, minute-ly.
I’m not a fan of Anthony Weiner, but I did see a quote where he called for NBC to fire Trump – I think it was on April 20, long before the whole thing came to a head. So, I have to give Weiner credit there.
Huh it is really sad! But the President got God, his family and of course we the people supporting him 100%. He’ll do just fine. Let’s all continue praying for him and his beautiful family!
You know what rich people hate the most? Being poor. Anyone remember that Eddie Murphy movie, Trading Places with the rich brothers who lost everything they had? I know our boycott will not send chump to the poor house, but losing that program will hurt him something bad.
Sweet, let’s keep this thingy going. Love it. Sweetilicious!!!
Its ironic how they use racist tactic against the president, and one of the most republican states who wants nothing from the government and has a tea party governor is now needing help. The one they detest is now on his way to give comfort and to view the damages of those who hate him ( not all). God has a way of making ppl see things i just hope they open their eyes. We all need each other. No matter the color of your skin
Hello all – I don’t get to comment daily but I do come to this site several times a day. I just canceled my subscription with On star and apparently, I wasn’t the first. Enough is enough.
To P – who asked the question – where are the Black leaders? We have none. They sold us out for thirty pieces of silver along time ago. The ones we see on TV that ‘represent us” are not our leaders. Where is the CBC? Crickets.
But don’t fret. As the president so eloquently stated “We are the ones that we have been waiting for”. It’s time to STAND UP.
CBC only look out for their own self-interest and go on cable tv and complain about PBO and how he doesn’t do anything for the “black agenda.” Hm. You ever been in a car with a backseat driver? Well that’s the CBC….. useless on their best days. Don’t know why I’m so disappointed.
Rev. Sharpton asked Cornel West the same thing on Ed (give me a break) Shultz’s “Black Agenda” (something or another)…because Cornel keeps going on and on about what President Obama hasn’t done for “the blacks”…Cornel didn’t have a comeback…just more ranting! Yes, it is a “shame”…but we (President Obama) are going to make it, because we got the prez and the prez go us! I’M IN!
Absolutely the only black leaders of any sort who support and defend the President are Rev. Al Sharpton (unapologetically at that), Dr. Charles Ogletree, Joe Madison. There are others but these three I find the most prominent. My favorite local radio host gave me such a sweet peace by standing up for the President saying he doesn’t worry about PBO because the man is skilled, resilient, and doesn’t back down from any fight; can speak intelligently on any topic, has done many things to benefit those who feel he should have a “black agenda” (speaking of self-annihilation…whew). One of my favorite sayings by this host and Rev Al is “ain’t no fun when the rabbit’s got the gun”. They have hunted for him for three years now, and PBO is just as strong as ever. We need only to continue to support vocally, financially, and spiritually this President to allow him to bring more accomplishments. I certainly will miss his smiling face when he is out of office.
Gotta love a boycott that pays off in only 24 hours!
May karma be instant and kick him square in his swollen, orange ass!
He’s a “businessman” right? So surely he will understand how his bad business decision to slander the POTUS will affect his bottom line, LOL! The ONLY thing these clowns understand is money, can’t wait for more advertisers to jump ship.
What a complete and total idiot. You sow the reap, you reap the whirlwind. This is only the beginning of his self-destruction, and I’m waiting for the rest of the dominoes to fall.

you realize that you are hilarious, yes? I don’t know if this is inappropriate or not, but I’m laughing my a** off as I read your post. Dear Lord, please don’t ever get me on the wrong side of PoliticalJunkessa! Ohhhh. My stomach is cramping up from laughing so hard:- “swollen, orange ass!” “reap the whirlwind” oh. “It’s not personal Chump, it’s strictly business.” As Fred said earlier, “the free market is a cruel mistress”. I hope karma bites you in your fat butt, you bloated, gaseous, bag of mess.
salon.com had an article today indicating that Trump has a long history of discriminatory practices. It appears that the company did not rent to people of color…..there were lawsuits and problems with the HUD and the department of Justice. He is no stranger to racial politics. are we shocked?????
I remember when Trump jumped into the middle of the Central Park jogger case in NYC. He put full page ads in the four major news dailies– NYT, Daily News, NY Post, and Newsday– calling for the death penalty for five young black and Hispanic men aged fourteen to sixteen accused of raping the young white woman in the park. The ad bore the headline: “These animals are the reason we should re-instate the death penalty in New York State.” (or something to that effect)
When it was later discovered using DNA evidence that the group of young men were innocent and that the woman was raped by a lone assailant, I expected him to apologize, along with the NYPD and the Manhattan DA’s office. No one apologized for the 14 years these teenagers spent in prison paying for a crime they did not commit. The fact that Trump would have had them killed for this crime sickened me, and I couldn’t stand to see his face after that. I never watched his pathetic TV show, and I still almost reflexively spit when I pass the Trump Towers in midtown near Central Park. This incident changed my view of the Death Penalty. I’m no liberal, but this incident told me all I needed to know about the manic way people react when race, sex, and crime intertwine. It changed me.
Suffice it to say, I was not at all surprised by Trump’s bigotry and callousness. He deeply disgusts me. I have no respect for the man, and I never will. Glad to see him made a fool of, but he deserves much, much worse.
True. While I do agree if any man raped a woman or vise versa he/she/they are animals!!! having the correct offender/s is very important. We all know Trump and his racist ways…wonder if it was the other way around would he have reacted the same way? that’s what concerns me but of course I have the answer.. NO he wouldn’t because blacks are inferior to him!!!!
People power!! He doesn’t know who he’s messing with. You mess with the Prez you mess with all decent human beings that’s got his back. Can’t wait until all the sponsor’s of his show and NBC drop him like a lead balloon.
You’re about to find out who you’re fucking with, Donald Trump. This ain’t over. We’re going after ALL OF YOUR SPONSORS. Every single one of them.
let’s get em boysister. This is a great way for us to exercise our power and to protect the president. yahooooo!
Oh yeah ” hope you file for another bankruptcy soon and you go down in the most heinous way” trump we are coming for you.
Thank you Chipstick. I am so excited. We are going to flood their email and phone lines with our Dump The Trump campaign.

NO he wouldn’t because blacks are inferior to him!!!!
Trump’s many bankruptcies have probably ruined many lives for those he has swindled. He’s not one to talk about justice.
