Nothing personal but I think African Americans need to break their silence and come out in force against the media and let it be know we know your code words.

TO2012, I agree 100%. As in the famous words after the 2008 election, “We need to take our country back.” 😆
Sorry I just couldn’t help using that little play on words and turning them around. It’s our turn. Boycott!!!

I heard two African American men call into the Stephanie Miller show this morning – and one was in tears because of his heartbreak over how this President is being disrespected. It broke my heart to hear him. This whole thing is sickening. The media is beyond pathetic. And the world actually is watching – in horror. Why should African Americans be the only ones to speak out against such reprehensible behavior? I think any decent person would be disgusted by this crass and low behavior, and the fact that the picture it shows to the outside world is one of a nation that can’t be bothered to speak up for their President and the nation’s dignity? Why aren’t these kind of animal creatures not being vilified and thrown out of society? Aren’t all Americans outraged and embarassed by this birther nonsense and the failure of the media? How are Americans of color supposed to feel in this country that they call home, when even attaining the highest office in the land doesn’t afford one any respect, or the right to have that Office respected by the media or people of one’s country. We are all bystanders and witnesses to these events, and it says something about all of us as a community that it had to get this far – in 2011.

Thank you for saying this in just this way, Theo. I want to believe that while the carnival barkers and media inepts are gleefully parading their stuff, ‘any decent person would be disgusted by this crass and low behavior’. Their actions are unquestionably racist, but, as you point out, that should not, and is not, only the concern of AAs.

TEAMOBAMA2012..I agree with that, because the media is just to much to blame as that racists lying Donald Trump.

You know Hachiko, the world thinks we are stupid but not all of us and they are praying for Obama as much as we are. We can’t let the silly people who yell the loudest in the US out distance us. We are united, we are committed and we are willing to go down that road with our President. It’ll take a mighty big train to fit us all in but there are a lot more of us than the ones who stand by as our train keeps movin on. We must meet the media and expose them for who they are this whole next election cycle. Keep those letters, emails and phone calls coming letting them know what we think. We can boycott and use our brain that God gave us to outmanuver.

Jason Pollack just tweeted this: “Racists can hate in Obama forever, but they’ll never impact anything the way Obama has changed the world simply by being.” To that I say, Amen. Amen. Amen.

I’m done with this birther crap.

    Moving on.

I love it. I said something like that to a friend of mine not too long after his election. I said, “It’s done, now, he’s made his mark. They can’t change that fact, forever.”

We are being called to mature as a people in this country. This is just another object lesson. We’ll be okay :-).

Thank you, thank you, Chipsticks! You are so wise in what you do here. This is absolutely the right memory lane video to share here today. I actually had tears in my eyes! There is NO going back! Nothing ‘they’ do can alter the impact President Obama has had on the country/world! God forbid, if they were to get back in they still cannot change the fact of 2009-April,2011. The American people have got to be smart enough to support this administration in 2012 – I hope and pray.

You better believe we have come so far, and we are not going back!!!! Trump can ask for the Presidents grades all he want, he won’t get them. And I was thinking, the President and his people had their reasons for releasing this certificate, these are not dump people, this is a smart President and he has smart people around him. If we are upset, the media and NBC should be hearing from all of us.

You’re correct.he has always played chess, and played it brilliantly!! He must have had his reasons for this! We know what a strong person he is….he didn’t “cave”…..again, he is playing a chess move.

I will support and love my President through thick and thin. He is a better man. We have a beautiful gift in this President, let us not stay focus. Yes, it hurts, but we are in for the victory lap, and WE WILL MAKE THAT LAP IN 2012. Obama/Biden. We are are better than this hate. Light our candles, put on our music, say our prayers, meditate on what is good, pure, honest, and gentleness. Our President is serious about his job. Let us stand with him ALL the way.
