Rupert Cornwell (UK Independent): Has there ever been a more absurdly surreal moment, even in US politics, that unchallengeable theatre of the absurd and the surreal? One moment, we were watching a property magnate, with one eye on the presidency, the other on his reality TV show ratings, and puffed up like a bullfrog, rejoicing on an airport tarmac in New Hampshire that America’s President of two years had finally made public his birth certificate.
The next, America’s TV networks interrupted their schedules to cut to the White House, where that self-same President appeared to confirm the momentous fact: not that Barack Obama had indeed been born, but that the happy event indeed took place, as no sane person has ever doubted, on the unimpeachably American soil of Hawaii, one August evening in 1961…..
…..Of late, however, America has seemed to be taking leave of its senses … At moments like yesterday, you could believe that everyone’s gone nutty.

The Obama Diary 
Why are these people just calling what is going on by it’s rightful name. Did they need permission to identify what has been going on for the last three year. The racist actions of the right has been in our face up front and nasty and no one said any thing. Get real America and call them out for what they are doing to our democracy.
YEAH Bob Schieffer! BTW his brother Tom Schieffer has been appointed by Major League Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig, to take over handling the financial end of our beloved Dodgers baseball team. I believe the Schieffer brothers to have integrity.

I think this is weak. These people long ago should have put this to rest. It is good that the issue has been laid bare, but the calculated and manipulative manner in which the MSM played this taints anything they have to say from this point forward. If they are wise they will drop it immediately, and the affirmative action meme that is attempting to take flight will get it’s wings clipped now and labeled for what it is…racism.

But seriously, I think when Our BELOVED President Obama, came out on National Television, just to talk about the *LONG* version of his Birth Certificate, and I mean, he Specifically came out to *SPANK* the CARIVAL BARKER’S, and the *PRESS* “HINYS”, well, It not only showed that PBO was the ONLY ADULT IN THE ROOM, but It showed just how SILLY, and IGNORANT, along with RACIST, they were, and they F I N A L L Y got the message, and probably was able to think back, about the errors of their ways.
have you all read the comments from the British attached to this article? I’ve been reading them for the past hour and I was laughing my ass of. There is such wit among these people. Also, did you know that there are British Birthers? But overwhelmingly, the commentors appreciate and like PBO, they just think Americans( especially repugs) are stupid. They are hilarious!
