Thanks for the pictures Chips, nice, nice, nice 🙂 Malia, and Sasha are growing so fast, but oh so pretty, and they look like their Mom, and Their Dad, and then when the four of them are all together, well, everybody looks like everybody, Lol. Good looking Family 🙂

Check out the very stern, serious, do-not-even-think-about-it Secret Service Agent behind Malia. The message is look, but do not touch!

I know I talk about looks alot when it comes to our First Family, but I think they are likable, down to earth nice people, and that is important too. Because if they were beautiful people, but didn’t care about people or didn’t know how to treat people, or acted all uppity, we wouldn’t love them like we do.

They look so happy, especially President Obama. What a wonderful day for them. The pictures are great. I second all the wonderful comments – the girls are growing so fast and they all look beautiful. They are such loving people. Wonderful pictures, Chipsticks.

Well TOD family I am back from my wonderful adventure to the Easter Egg Roll 2011. My pictures do not compare to College Kay’s or the others posted here and they are mostly personal of my niece, my sister, and myself so I will not try to post them here. I have to tell you it was DC hot!!!!! The sun was beaming most of the time I was there and it was super crowded. Just getting to the grounds took forever but no one was complaining every one seemed just excited to be going. One gentleman near me said ” they must think I am a Republican to make me stand in this hot sun this long and I voted for President Obama” but he said it in good fun. I must say I was quite impressed with the organization of the event and since it was so hot the water, power drinks, fruit snack, apples, and pears were very much welcomed by all! We mostly just walked around and looked at events my niece is 10 and her interest was seeing either Willow or Sasha and Malia. So we mainly stayed in the area where Willow would perform. John Lithgow (sp?) was first. There was a group there (not performing at the time) I had never heard of but my niece was sooooo happy to get her picture with them called Mindless Behavior!!!! Then my heart was made glad when the crowd starting shouting there’s Mrs. Obama and at that time all I could see was her hands waving to everyone. Just knowing I was standing near her had me excited though. Willow was great, she has what it takes to make it big time. Of course we “whipped our hair” and sang along with “21 Century Girl”. Then as Willow left the stage – I knew that Michelle would also be leaving and I moved up so that I could get a good look and let me tell you – SHE GLOWS. She is one beautiful woman – the cameras do not lie and then I saw Malia as they hung around a little while talking to some people under a tree. Malia is beautiful just like her Mother and Dad. She is really tall. I suspect Sasha and Jada P Smith where there also but I could not see them – they and I are not tall enough (LOL). Anyway it was a great day despite the heat – at least it did not rain. The purple Easter Egg with the Obama’s signature and the purple Peeps given at the end were a nice addition to an already great day!

Thank you so much for this first hand account – it sounds like a really great day! I was thinking the same about the Obama’s today and the glowing – there’s a picture that was posted earlier where it looked like they were all glowing, and there’s also a picture when they were in Brazil when they were glowing in the setting sun. I think the glow comes from within… I’m glad you had such a great time!

From your description you had a great day – good for you! – and I appreciate your sharing your take on it with us. This will undoubtedly be a memory your niece will cherish for the rest of her life!

louc1, I’m so glad you and your family had a nice time. Even though it was hot, it was worth it wasn’t it? I can tell that by just looking at the pictures and videos. I did see a video of Willow Smith perform and you are right about her. I remember saying to myself, Will and Jada have got to be mighty proud. Take care.

I’m glad you had a good time! Which group were you in? I know group C probably had it the worst as far as waiting time. They were very patient but I felt bad so I tried to pass out as much water as possible.

Group D – 2:10- 4:10. Thank you – all the volunteers were so helpful and friendly. Most even volunteered to take guests group pictures. The only thing that would have made the day any better is if I had actually been able to see the President but I have seen him twice and believe I will see him again some time so no regrets!
