Yahoo! Awesome…so close! You’ll have to share, when you have time, what your day was like. It looked like lots of good, healthy fun all wrapped in a gloriously beautiful day.
Thanks for the lovely pics and report Collegekay! You sure had a blast today at the People’s House, hosted by our wonderful First Family. Great memories to be treasured!
You are awesome, Collegekay! Thanks for much for sharing with us. You were close enough to touch. Are you going to share all that you did. How did you get chosen to volunteer?
Beautiful!!!!! This prob make your year! 🙂 I wanna go to the white house to see the first family now……but I don’t think that would ever happen since I’m not living in America sigh
You dog! I am so jealous. Truly. I am happy for you. I hope at some point to be that close to Obama.
I have been 20 feet away, which is not bad, but I wantan up close and person experience. I am lucky, a handshake or hugs.
I love seeing the President and First Lady read that book they said they used to read to Malia and Sasha. And watching the President as he watched his girls read their book, I saw such pride that a loving father shows for the light of his world.
OMG!! So impressed with the pics and how close you got to em, and you getting ‘stuck on the South Lawn’ how fortuitous. Thanks for the report and look forward to the video. This is an experience that you’ll tell your grand kids in years to come. So happy for you.
collegekay, the pictures are so nice. I am glad you were able to be there, and that you had a wonderful time, along with all the other people there. You said you shook the President’s hand, do you plan on washing that hand? I just love our President and his family. Wow! We are blessed to have them.
Chipsticks, and Collegekay, all I can say Is wowwwwwwwwwwwww 🙂 Simply Beautiful pictures, clear pictures, up-close pictures, pretty pictures, umm look, these pictures look like Pete Souza’s pictures, really great. you did a good job. I would like to hear how you became a volunteer there today, please, please. Take care, and do have a nice rest of the evening 🙂
I got an email about it because I’m already “connected” to the White House, as guess I can say. I don’t wanna say to much on a public blog. They tell us not to for our safety.
Nice!
