I really would love it if someone could put together an album of pictures showing President Obama interacting with children. These images show so much genuine care and they always make me realize again what a great human being this President is. I believe such a collection of pictures would be unique in the history of American presidents.

Children seem to have an affinity with President Obama and he definately has a way with children. What a pure and beautiful heart Barack has. My son, now 10 adores him and quite often looks at the pictures on this and other pro Obama sites. At the age of 3 when PBO made the key note speech at the DNC it was on the news and my boy stopped playing and just gazed at the screen, when the reporter started talking he said (and I paraphrase slightly here)’be quiet I like the other man’ meaning PBO. It was then that I began taking more of an interest in his career and him!

We are truly blessed to live in the ‘age of Obama’

Your son sounds like he is a cutie! I loved that he said,”….be quiet I like the other man,” and you knew he meant PBO! Kids are a lot smarter than most people think! Your post reminds me of a video I saw a few years ago in which young kids in a classroom liked BO’s photo more than they did McCain’s and said complimentary things about then-candidate Obama. It just seems that kids are drawn to him.

Ronald, Welcome!! Your baby Nate is such a cutie! And your wife is sooo lucky that she was able to get so close. It makes my heart glad to see PBO with children… they have an affinity towards him and it’s reciprocated. It would be great if you or your wife could share how it felt and what PBO said to your little guy 🙂

Wishing you, your wife and your little man Nate much health and happiness. It would be great if in 4 or 5 more years, Nate has
another opportunity to say Heh to our President. As Malia says, “Dad, kids don’t shake hands”.

One of the many reasons I support our President is the future he wants for all America’s children.

The President was greeting everyone along the fence and when he got to Nathan and I he stopped and said hello to Nathan (who proceeded to drool…). I think he said what a cute little guy and then mentioned how he was blowing bubbles. 🙂 He shook my hand and then continued on down the line. Quite an honor for us considering he only paused to talk to Nathan and no one else. He just shook hands besides…Very exciting for us!
