Excellent! Thanks for posting this. I was stuck in LA traffic this afternoon, so I missed seeing AF One land, but did get a chance to see Marine One do a turn right over my head and touch down in Culver City – and I saw six (!) marine helicopters around LAX. Very exciting – but glad we can watch this event online.

I’ve missed all the townhalls this week – this is the first event I’ve had the time/chance to see.. thanks to you Ms. Chips- so thank you!!! for posting this and letting me know, and luckily I tuned in just in time.

I am so jazzed about this election, frankly I believe if we all get involved- not only will POTUS win again he will win HUGE. We will have to work hard, leave no stone unturned, but we are capable and able to make that effort I believe. This election is OURS to WIN imo.

oops wanted to add: the media is our biggest foe imo, and thus your blog Chips, all the other blogs listed here are going to be so important in all of us working together to get out the facts. The facts will win as long as we are the media.

Me4obama, as soon as you you probably need to check for updates to run livestream applications. I have found that sometimes this solves the problem.

Hey Me4Obama, are you still unable to live stream? Just a few quick questions, did you go to CNN and try to get it from there? when I first tried from the link Ms. CHips provided, I couldn’t get it, but once I got to CNN in the middle left hand side, there’s a link that says PBO’s LA fundraiser. I don’t know if that’s helpful. But if it’s not, I’lkl def. live blog.

okay, sorry, just read your post that you’re using an Ipad, I tried to log on with my ipod, but couldn’t bc apple doesn’t have flash player which is necessar for most videos. Okay, well now there’s like intermission music while they clear up the stage in preparation for the prez. They’re no playing “Dance to the Music.”

  11. April 21, 2011 at 9:40 pm

A new song called rescue just for President Obama. Because we need to rescue him, and have his back. Oh this is so great.

Well this young man is just the total package isn’t he.. activist for smart causes, beautiful music maker, owns an avacodo farm (love me some avacados!) cute.. and supports our President big time. Ladies of the younger persuasian- this is another fine reason to get involved politically ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • April 21, 2011 at 9:50 pm

You know, I’m going through a seriously serious avocado phase in my life – I read somewhere that no matter how unhealthy my diet and lifestyle, if I ate a couple of avocados a week I’d have the body of an Olympic athlete (well, possibly that of an overweight shot-putter).

So, yes, I love this guy too!

    • April 21, 2011 at 9:53 pm

Yes they was so good. I remember all the love connections that happened during the 2008 campaign it was so much fun for everyone. I also remember the Repugs party and convention was so dry compared to ours. If anyone can ignite the fire that is needed for this election it is President Obama. He still got it. ๐Ÿ™‚

        April 21, 2011 at 9:57 pm

Agree totally with you Brezzy- he is our Uniter in Chief.. and I remember that republican convention- so full of hate via Ms. Palin and her attack on us/ community organizers and Barack Obama. What a sad bunch.. and remember our convention.. love, unity between Hillary and Barack.. the Biden family.. Its hard to believe any American would still vote republican at this point.

Talking now about the duality of America.. our individualism and looking out for our neighbor, being our brother’s keeper.. doing what he does best imo.. talking about how we are not an island and that we need to help one another- its who we are.. “our vision” ” a vision of a big America” an ambitious America.. talking about how some (republicans) think small on what America is and can be.

Egad he is smart.. he really speaks to the soul of us. To the good in us. Whether we came via the Rio Grande, Ellis Island.. or slave ships- we are ALL in this TOGETHER. LOTS of applause.

That Jackie Wilson song sounds pretty good. Your love keep lifting me higher. We have to be there for this President. He is going to need all of us. Donating, volunteering, talking to that family member or friend who never voted before, or who voted for President Obama in 2008, but is not satisfied with the way things are. Who maybe sitting on the fence. We have to talk to them. Let them know what is at stake. We have to do whatever it takes, we have to be ready to go to battle. Because we want four more years, President Obama and VP Biden . Are you guy fired up, ready to go? Then let’s get going. OBAMA/BIDEN..2012.

  73. 130 Lovepolitics2008
    April 21, 2011 at 11:14 pm

Very good speech. He’s so inspiring when he talks about his vision for America. And his message is so positive, so devoid of pettiness.

If there is any justice in this world, this exceptional president will be reeclected in a landslide.

  74. 131 Lovepolitics2008
    April 21, 2011 at 11:35 pm

Another comment… what I find fascinating is his argument about raising taxes for the wealthiest americans. He doesn’t use vindictive language, demeaning language, confrontational language. No. He makes a moral argument and a patriotic argument in the most gentle, gemnerous, positive, uplifting way. And he personalises it: “it makes me feel good to see this couple of seniors walking down the street, knowing that they have the security they need, it makes me feel good to see those kids who have a better education…” THIS is how to win hearts. THIS is the best way to disarm the opposition.

    • 132 Eleroy
      April 22, 2011 at 1:39 am

You are right Lovepolitics2008!!! This is what sets him apart and keeps him several heads above all others!!! He is so calm, so positive and so secure in the knowledge that goodness guides him!!!

He does not feed into the hysterics of those who attack him and those who are “disappointed” because he will not “fight” back in their obvious and unproductive draw a line in the sand, bluster and yell sort of way!!!

President Obama is a once in a generation President!!! A solid, thinking man steady, measured, focused and unfazed by the many distractions and sideshows happening all around him as he works hard to set the country back on the right track after many decades of catastrophic rule.

      President Obama ROCKS!!!

I’m still on cloud nine and I wasn’t even in the building with him! But the program format is the same as it was when I was at the USC rally and we were outside. It was very very crowded then as it appears to have been there tonight. It can get quite stuffy, then down right HOT with all of those people packed in to see the president. We had a couple of people faint then as it appears to have happened tonight. And our POTUS was on point and acknowledged the situation and kept everyone calm then continued with his speech. He is a true leader, calm and in control. So during the warm-up, I was here in my living room standing and moving to the music as if I was there with all of them. Jamie Foxx has done this for POTUS a couple of times now. He’s got a pretty sweet gig!! Now I’m here reading y’all’s comments and just smiling at how engaged and excited you all are. At one point, my CNN feed froze too and I quickly went to the link Chipsticks provided and was in like Flynn. Chipsticks you are AWESOME! I was at the Sony event tonight. And it was off the charts unbelievable. I walked, stood for hours and then walked again at the end of the evening. And if I had to do it all over again tomorrow I would. It was a spectacular evening. One of the best moments of my “seasoned” life to take Jamie’s phraseology.

President Obama was on fire and the crowd of supporters went along for the ride. It was the usual diverse crowd, but I think women out numbered men 6 to 1.
