I want to watch this video so bad but Elisabeth’s shrill voice makes my head hurt and I’m so disgusted with Barbara Walters over the past couple of months.
I faced the same dilemma, Jessica. I’m 100% against Walters and shrill Elizabeth – their scummy behavior (especially Barbara) with Palin and Trump has been more than I could take. But, I bit my lip and watched this clip simply because I wanted to watch the First and Second Ladies. Not for the others. Go ahead and treat yourself! 🙂
I watched it. It was lovely and totally worth it. That’s cute that Malia wants to start wearing make-up and Barack’s all nervous about her getting dressed up.
LOL! Forget about debt ceiling, Wars in Afganistan, Iran, Libya, Gulf oil spill, Gun control, Bush tax cuts, earthquake in Haiti & Japan, etc. Malia’s first real date will be “Obama’s Katrina.”
that was hilarious. I laughed so loud, I’m afraid my neighbor will come banging on my door. He’s so cute, I can’t wait to see it. He’ll turn completely grey once that starts happening.
Seeing the First Lady and Dr. Biden, well I can deal with Barbara for a few minutes,in order to see our lovely First Lady and Second Lady. Mrs. Obama looked so lovely, and Mrs. Biden also.
Don’t let those issues spoil the joy and message that is being presented. And don’t worry, Elizabeth will be voting for POTUS in 2012 and Barbara is from the old establishment of looking out for herself. Don’t give them any power or you’ll miss the message.

I think very insultingly, injected Palin into the interview. I didn’t watch the show….but am happy to see the clips. Flotus and Sotus(?) are our good fortune, both exceptionally beautiful inside and out.
Elizabeth is a shrew and Walters has lost any respect I had for her. Whoppi and Joy should have a show of their own…..that I would watch.
Oh Joy has a show of her own. it’s called The Joy Behar Show and it’s on HLN. it’s pretty good and a lot of nights she defends the president fiercely from some of his nut job critics.

Just what I was waiting for. Gorgeous! FLOTUS looks stunning and she and Dr. Jill exude such warmth and kindness. I am so glad they are taking up this cause — they’re perfect for it.
The one thing i noticed was that FLOTUS and Dr. Biden have remain grounded. They put on “airs” and don’t project an inflated estimate of their worth. If a mother/woman can’t relate to these two on some things then i don’t know what their problem is.
I just love the part were the First Lady is telling about how the President(Daddy) acted when Malia went out to her first party. That was so cute, and most other Father can understand it very well.

FLOTUS will have to sit him down and really give him some “easy dad” lessons. But not to worry, we know that he will be fine. It is so delightful how our POTUS and FLOTUS gives us just enough to enjoy about their beautiful daughters. It is just enough for us to get a wonderful peek into their wonderful interaction with their parents.

She tried to ruin the interview by asking the 1st lady a policy question about getting out of Afghan but our FLOTUS was her usual smart self and answered perfectly even when Barbara pressed. I don’t think as was said – there have ever at least in modern day been a First Lady and a Second Lady to work together like these two gorgeous ladies do! They are friends – how nice!
I noticed that as well. Elizabeth seemed to enjoy the interview, Barbara interjected negatively alot, and I think Joy was a little negative as well sometimes. That may just be me but I don’t think it went over Barbara’s head. She just didn’t want to acknowledge it. She’s so old and rotten. The first lady handled herself very well.

I’ve got news for Ms. Barabara. First of all, if PBO and FLOTUS were to ever attend that wedding, the entire event would be about them and not the “Royal Couple” which would be highly embarrassing for all concerned. Ditto for Chelsea Clinton’s wedding. The Obamas were not “snubbed” at all. They were not personal friends of Wills or Kate. Secondly, it was probably mutually understood that they were not going to be invited because they would have to turn down the invitation (not a good use of their time).
Confession: I’m not a fan of the British monarchy, so I’m more than happy that the Obamas won’t be at the wedding. 😕

Hassleback then asked about McCrystal and about his disparaging statements about PBO and JB, and about the Tilman consipracy theory and McCrystal’s possible role in it, but Miche and Jill just took over. Good interview except for Barbara and her question. Plus, Hassleback was hilarious. Even before Miche was on stage, Hassleback was sucking up to Michelle. She was gushing like a teenager. I guess she doesn’t think Miche heard about how Hassleback was criticising her and comparing her (negatively) to Cindy M. She is unbelievable.
