‘All things considered ….’ it is totally amazing he has achieved anything, let alone the, in some cases monumental and historical, ‘things’ he has accomplished. I respect Ms Nooyi for her considerable insight and her willingness to share it with everyone. That video should be shared extensively in the months leading to ED 2012.
This is how those who support this President feel. We support this President because we trust him, we believe he is going to try to do what is best for all of us.We are not like those half hearted supporters who are ready to throw him under the bus if he doesn’t do things the way they want him to do (the Progressive or Professional Left), when or how they want him to do it. We know that the Tea-Republicans have one agenda, to stop this President from succeeding. They don’t give a darn if this country fall apart. If people continue to suffer, the TR don’t care. This President has had to deal with people like them, and cowardly Democrats, who turn on him at times. So this have not been easy for President Obama. But thanks to his leadership we are heading in the right direction, slowly, but surely. I wish people would listen to Ms. Nooyi, because she is telling it just like it is.
This is the bomb. To say i love this would be an understatement. What is even more amazing, i can’t find this anywhere except buried on the CNN website under Fareed’s bylines. It’s not even in Huffington Post.
Thanks for putting this up. It made my day.
The President of Pepsi – she’s one of the celebrated CEOs, I believe. Well respected and tough. I also think she was one of the many CEOs who accompanied the President on his trip to India.
Quite an astute comment. I wish it was covered more in the press. It would be nice to hear from global leadership of governments and corporations in general, especially people of color. How many Americans would be surprised to learn that the CEO and Chairman of Pepsico is an Indian woman? I think it would just about blow their minds.
Kay, if you are to wait on the so called msm to cover any positive attribute to the President, then you will have to wait forever. These idiots really piss me off, but not all of us are as stupid as they think we are. We know and understand what Potus has to deal with from all sides. Thank you, CEO Nooyi for your spot on analogy.
I really like the back and forth between them. The way the host identified each part of the analogy she was referring to in her assessment. Congress, his cabinet and the American people.
In addition to what she was saying I found that very refreshing (and kind of cute) in terms of a talk show interview.

Thank you!
Wow, that was a powerful analogy.

Very clear analogy.
The best analogy I’ve heard, I need to listen to it again.

At last! someone who makes sense.
Since I know that the muppets is liked here :), my message to corporations and people is…
Cue the banjo…
Yep. That’s right. Love is the answer. I love you too.

A wonderful video. And she was extremely impressive. I love to see women in positions of power.
