George Stephanopoulos: I thought the president would take a pass when I asked him about Donald trump’s rise to the top of the Republican field in my exclusive interview today.
Far from it.
He grabbed at the chance with a big smile – saying he thinks the whole issue will be a problem for Republicans.
“I think that over the last two and a half years there’s been an effort to go at me in a way that is politically expedient in the short-term for Republicans. But [it] creates, I think a problem for them when they want to actually run in a general election where most people feel pretty confident the President was born where he says he was, in Hawaii. (Laughs) He doesn’t have horns. We’re not really worrying about conspiracy theories or birth certificates,” President Obama told me.
And in all my talks with Obama I think it was the first time he was one the same page as Karl Rove who thinks the “birther” controversy is hurting the GOP.
“The truth of the matter is that I think that the vast majority of Americans across the country – Democratic or Republican – really want this election to be about growing the economy, getting control of the deficit, preparing the future for our kids. And my suspicion is that anybody who is not addressing those questions…Is going to be in trouble. I think they may get a quick pop in the news. They may get a lot of attention. But ultimately, the American people understand this is a serious, sober time,” he told me.

The Obama Diary 
I saw the evening news clip, he was sharp with all his answers, and I saw the killer smile being displayed when George asked him about the clown. Everytime he smiles he attracts votes. So keep smiling mr. President.

They are a bunch of circus acts. I doubt any serious voter is interested in Chump and his mess.
I see Chump told an interviewer that he’s always had a great relationship with “the blacks”. So, I guess “the blacks” will all be flocking to his campaign then. 🙂

Sigh…..he is not running…he does not have any intention of running….he NEVER had any intention of running. Just like the last 2 times he pulled this EXACT same stunt. 24years ago and 12 years ago.
Sad that he is so hungry for publicity that he will get into the gutter and malign not only the president, but his mom and his grandparents. That says a whole lot about this guy, and to my mind, it wreaks of something seriously wrong with him.

Why anyone would give this Trump fellow the time of day is beyond me. Here is a man who have built his so call presidency run on a lie, he knows it’s a lie, he’s been told it’s a lie, but he has choose to jump on the bandwagon with a bunch of racists people, who time after time it’s been shown, proven to them that Barack Obama was born in the Unites states, but they refuse to believe it. Now watch and see, because the President answer a question which was asked of him, that ego headed Trump will have something to say like how the WH is afraid of him, that’s why the President is talking about him. How a woman could stay marry to someone like Trump with such a hugh ego,it’s must be the money.
