having a ball

First Lady Michelle Obama watches as children of military families play baseball during an event to support the families, at Coors Field in Denver April 13. The White House on April 12 launched a “Joining Forces” initiative to encourage non-government support of the particular needs of military families. Leading the initiative, Mrs. Obama and Mrs. Biden travelled to several locations across the country that provide examples of the initiative’s core areas of supporting employment, education, and wellness of service members and their families.

There’s that Obama affect, look at the blonde little girl in picture five looking at the First Lady with a big smile. You see that Obama affect when you see the President around little kids, and the same is with the First Lady. You see that they just love kids and love being around them. I know I am repeating myself, but I think our First Lady and Second Lady are pretty special human beings. I’m still trying to fine something I can do to show my thanks to our military and their families. Good Morning everyone.

Hey Chipstick. Your website needs more cowbell. You must be getting too much traffic which is a good thing.

I love our FLOTUS and Dr. Biden. I am really disappointed that I haven’t seen any of this on the news, local or national.
What happened to the shouts of “support our troops”? This program has nothing to do with politics. I have no doubt the majority of Americans would like to hear about this program.

All the good STUFF that the President and family and friends are doing is not covered by the media. We can’t have these low information citizens hearing good stuff that might give them hope for the country. We must spread all of this or most will never know what is being done to help our military and their families.

Good Morning Debz. I concur with you, however, you know how POTUS, FLOTUS, VPOTUS, and SLOTUS always have their business together because of this fact about the MSM. I saw the entire program where all four of them presented a lovely program at the WhiteHouse this week. So the media knows about it, they simply did not put it out there for the masses to see what great things this program will be doing. So after hearing and seeing for myself; I went to whitehouse.gov/joiningforces and you will see the site and how to get involve. Thanks to Chipsticks we can still see the important things that are taking place daily . Thanks so much Chipsticks.

Hi HZ, I wish i was able to watch the program at the White House. I did check out the web site though, thanks. What would we do without Chipsticks and BWD to bring us information. I just feel the joining forces program should be important enough that the media would at least give it some attention. At least ET had the interview with FLOTUS and Dr Biden. Oddly enough, my husband always tells me he get more info from ET and Access Hollywood than he gets from the “news media”.

Shame that your media is not publicising this program but then again there is no negativity. This is why people should not rely on just the MSM. The ladies look hip and the look on that girl’s face – precious.

Must. Not. Have. Impure. Thoughts. About. The. FLOTUS.

    Okay, I must. I can’t help myself.

Hahaha, Eclecta. I get you, I am a lady though coz I would have those impure thoughts, but we ladies on here are always fawning over Potus. Bad, bad girls. All fun though. A girl or boy can dream. Right????
