That is probably my favorite documentary related to the Obama presidency. Think it’s time I watched it again.

Thanks. I just caught the end of this on PBS! The first video with the story of the little boy patting the President on the head is so cute. I just love it 🙂

Helpfully pointing out the gray hair….sweet.

I almost cried with relief after watching the second video on passing HCR. God! That was a good feeling, after the long suspense and watching him work so hard to make it happen.

I’m right there with you WalkingonSunshine. Watching the behind the scenes footage of the Health care battle and looking on it with fresh eyes after it thankfully passed, makes me appreciate this President and his continuous hard work.

Well, I don’t know why I don’t cry, but I tell you, I be grinning from ear to ear, whenever I see the First Family. I cried, and snot nose a while when he was elected President, Lol. But yes, I love looking at pictures of our First Family, It’s just something about them, that makes me grin and smile.

Chips, I just love It, when you find videos of our First Family, even If I’ve seen them before. Thank you Chipsticks 🙂

I just received and watched (3x’s) the HBO Documentary By The People, the Election of Barack Obama…if you have not seen it please consider watching it, with the campaign season fast approaching, it is a source of inspiration. Of all the documentaries I’ve watched, this is one of the best, and once again timely as we approach a new campaign cycle. I pretty much missed the Democratic primary so this was very enlightening as it filled in so much that I had missed getting onboard in July of 2008, as I did.

Two things, among many that stood out for me is the integrity, and consistency of President Obama. And that our MSM provides little more than speculation and hyperbole. The MSM is a joke, and a bad one at that.

I have absolutely no doubts about this man, I believe him to be truly remarkable, and as genuine and honest a person as I have ever observed. We are incredibly blessed by his excellence as a human being and his devotion and leadership to all of us, his country.

Thanks for recommending this Sue, I will order a copy!
I remain unflinching in my support of our extraordinary President and will work my heart and butt off to make sure that he is re-elected!
May God continue to bless, guide and protect President Obama!

We saw him in April 2007, just a few months after he announced. During that speech he said “This (politics) is not a game. It is work, and should not be treated like a game.” We think of that statement every time people act like they are playing “gotcha” and are not working. He is amazingly consistent, what he said then, and what he says now, and what he has done.
I always love pictures of him with children, like picture #1!

I wasn’t able to see the documentary, but I enjoyed the videos up here. I love that first picture with the little boy rubbing the President’s head, and anything with the President, the First Lady and the girls, I really love seeing that.

I remember the little boy asked him if PBO’s hair was like his and the President bent down to let him touch it to prove it was like the lille boy’s. Out of the mouth of babes.
