I don’t have long distance service to get in on the call. Thank you for putting this up!

Chipsticks, I just signed up to volunteer. I’m handicapped, old car doesn’t run, and scared to talk on the phone to people, but I listened to him and had to sign up. I live in a small town in Indiana, but maybe there will be a local office I can help administratively or can get training to be on the phones. There will be a way.

        He sounded great. Absolutely great.

You’re a spectacular human being, Suzanne – and I have absolutely no doubt, you will be a wonderful volunteer. Your bravery and determination, despite what you have to overcome, is inspiring. You know, it’s people like you who give me hope. Love ya.

Well, that was so nice to hear, Chipsticks! I feel like such a wimp! I used to be very active, but health issues have been shutting down activity for several years. I would have been all over this before. President Obama’s call to action is in plenty of time for me to work on it, I live in such a red district in Indiana (IN-05, Rep. Dan Burton (Idiot-Republican), but there are other Democrats here in the city. The local Democratic Party has little or no presence and runs very few candidates in local races. That might be a place where I could do some administrative type work and also work with OFA in whatever way I can.

            There is a way!

If you’re a wimp Suzanne, God help us all!! 🙂 You’re amazing.

Suzanne, I am sure that will be something that you will be able to find to do to help. Please know that there are so many of us who have something that may limit us in some way, but you sound so brave and such an encouragement to me. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers in that you will find something that you can do in your own way to help make a difference. You have already, Susanne. You have shared with us here. So thank you, and keep your faith strong. I am much older that a lot of the wonderful people here plus I have a severe heart condition, but I am in, and I know that I will have something to do because of my spirit of hope for our country and our wonderful President.

God bless you Suzanne! I’m sure there will be a need for any one of your many amazing skills and talents! I too signed up as a volunteer and will work my butt off to get this marvelous President re-elected!

I appreciate the encouragement Audrey. He is amazing. Just hearing him on the phone — so down to earth, realistic, and strong — very inspiring. It will all work out and fall into place.

Suzanne, I think you are wonderful! I know what you mean about being scared to talk on the phone. Believe me, on my first calls my sweaty hands could hardly hold the phone. Now I have made many hundreds of calls, and it got so much easier. Once you work up the courage to make the first few, you will be home free. It may not ever be something you love to do, but it is SO necessary and SO important. “There will be a way.” I just love your attitude! Hope you will keep in touch here and let us know how you are doing. And, yes, the President sounded great. “Absolutely great”

Yes, Chipsticks thank you so very much for doing this. I have not been able to get on my computer all day until now, and I was so elated to hear the conversation. There were many times during the President’s conversation, I could hear so much willingness on his part to give this all that he has. For sure I could hear it in his voice, that he is in. Thank you again, Chipsticks for all that you do here to make this such a sweet haven for us to come to.

Can somebody please explain why Benjamin Jealous and the NAACP are collaborating with Grover f*$#ing Norquist?! The man is the devil and no good could ever come of this. He will exploit and disparage the NAACP as he uses them to legitimize his hate and evil plot!

Just as he exploited the gay agenda to pretend to be on the side of gays as a socially lax libertarian on matters of pot and gay affairs, but digs in doubly on every anti-middle class, anti-labor, pro-privatization of everything including prisons and all things lobbyists have paid him handsomely for!
