night and day

President Barack Obama talks on the phone with Prime Minister Naoto Kan of Japan from the Treaty Room office in the White House residence, Wednesday night, March 16, 2011. (Official White House Photo by Pete Souza)

****

I know, I know, why am I surprised …. but Politico’s headline report tonight on this phone call:

“Yukio Edano, Japan’s chief cabinet secretary, announced during a news conference in Tokyo that Obama had spoken to Prime Minister Naoto Kan in the morning.”

So, Yukio Edano and Naoto Kan are given their proper titles, but the President of the United States of America is “Obama”.

Come on Politico, just be honest and rename yourselves ‘The Tea Party Bugle’.

I also have a problem with the media not calling by his correct title. I notice Rachel Maddow just calls him: “Mr.Obama.” She’s so annoying. Is it wrong of me to fantasize about the PL living in an alternate universe where they always have a real right wing president who was uber conservative on everything? Can you imagine all the coronaries that would induce?!!! Awwww…..eternal torment. Since they don’t know what torture is, that would teach them 😉

Oh, Lisa I don’t know about that, lol. These mofos (PL’s) seem to be, to me, no different than the teabaggers and right wingers. Only thinking about their pocketbooks-Ho’s!

‘So, Yukio Edano and Naoto Kan are given their proper titles, but the President of the United States of America is “Obama”.’

I wonder if it gives them a sense of accomplishment to refuse to give the President his title? This is so pathetically childish. If playing these little games consoles them, playing them also reveals the level of their mentality/maturity. A sad commentary on our media, I think. (If I am around) I look forward to seeing if, in describing this presidency, history will analyse the sheer malice, ineptitude, disrespect, and bigotry afforded this president by those in positions of responsibility or trust.

Not to worry though, Chipsticks. Not even their smallmindedness can hold this president back, and won’t it be a thrill to ‘recrown’ him in 2012 IN SPITE OF THEM!

Indeed – whether they call him by his title or not – he’s still President of the United States, Barack Obama (& Nobel Peace Prize Winner, Emmy Award Winner, all around amazing).

Indeed, I wish I could accomplish a tenth as much as he has. This is why the right wing’s heads explode at the very mention of his name. The man is just brilliant on so many levels. Media Matters had a clip of Hannity bashing the President and the man was practically foaming at the mouth with jealousy because Hannity is a stupid, know-nothing college drop out who got lucky. President Obama is brilliant and worked hard for everything he’s achieved.

Hey Chipsticks, I was sitting here thinking I should go to bed so that I could wake up early tomorrow to send you early wishes for the entire day, when I realized I could do it right now!

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Have a Terrific St. Patrick’s Day, Dear Chipsticks! XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

And take it easy on the ‘spirits’!

What a job he has taken on as President. I really didn’t think if would be so demanding compared to how Bush ate pretzels amd went to bed at 9:00 pm everynight….no exceptions. He is in my prayers daily.

This man carries the weight of the world on his shoulders. I am so very grateful for his leadership and his sacrifice for our country. He is a total inspiration. Every. Single. Day.
