Have you all heard the news? evan byah is going to FOX NEWS as a contributor. I saw it on Think Progress and they pointed out how this guy says he left because DC is too partisan and then he goes and joins FOX NEWS?!!!

Did he think we would forget?

I have no words left for people like Evan Byah and the rest of his subset. They are beyond belief.

I have one question Bled: what was he like up close and personal? I don’t think I could be in such close proximity to him and come out of it so composed. Good for you!!

Well, first of all, he was very very tall. You would think that when he came into the room he was be surrounded in a bubble of agents. He actually wasn’t, he walked in and was like “Woah, what’s going on in here?!” He made us all feel comfortable and not awkward or scared.

Bled, what an awesome experience to meet and speak with President Obama. He loves our youth and is working very hard to protect and expand your opportunities for a bright future. I hope you enjoy school, and recognize that our minds are as good as the diet we feed them. Your t-shirt is awesome, did our President give you the thumbs up on your fashion choice? I hope you cherish your experience with President Obama. If you ever need a role model for someone who dared to dream big, and through education, hard work and dedication achieved his dreams…look to President Obama, he believes in possibility.

Hey,Bled Aliu. When you put on that t-shirt did you think you would become so popular with so many people across this United States? Smart guy to show respect to our president. I can see it on your face.

To be honest with you, I didn’t even think about the press or anything. I actually also didn’t believe that the President was going to talk to us like that. I thought he was going to be in kind of protective glass a mile away :D. I’ve always been a big fan of our President, I actually got the shirt when i was in fifth grade (3 years ago).

What a great moment for those wonderful young students; my heart leapt when I saw this link/blog whatever you call it.

I know that I am less computer savvy than many — but I am still thrilled that someone began to send me
“The only Adult in the Room” last winter.

I can never get enough of this Obama-Family Presidency. Thank GOD that I am here to see these moments in History.Born in 1936.

Now, if POTUS will just visit one of these D.C. Senior facilities — so we can look him/or her over from close-up.

Personally, I would love to have a chat with the First Mother — Dear Michelles’ Mom. She must be on cloud 9 daily; living every American Mothers’ dream..

Just wanted to add I enjoyed this whole little conversation. Bled seems like a great kid, one of our best! I’m in Illinois and could identify with the Cubs question, but I love and respect President Obama so much I let him get away with that one White Sox flaw.

If only Americans could limit their differences to things as good natured as sports rivalries..sigh! This was a truly uplifting exchange….our kids are our future, thank God our President works so hard to insure that their interests are protected and their opportunities are expanded. It is wonderful to meet these bright and earnest kids, if only through the internet…I hope Bled shares this aspect of his experience with his school mates, friends and family, perhaps some will visit here. This young man impresses me with his positive outlook, his self-confidence and composure, and his awesome sense of style….the shirt, the hair, that smile…he’s rockin it!

You have really impressed this retired teacher! Young people like yourself is the reason I stayed in the classroom for over 30 years. Shoot for the stars and always remember that you can accomplish whatever you want to accomplish as long as you’re willing to work hard and persevere.

Nabil, we don’t want you to feel left out. You looked marvelous, and you are fortunate to be so close to our great president. I saw him back in 2007 when he just started his run, but I was in a crowd, not next to him like you were. He was very impressive then, too. Hope your future is great. I am also a retired teacher, and know the hope of our country rests with you young people.

Come by here anytime and get your fix on all that is Obama.

You know Barb, there are more than a few of us “older timers” here.

Nabil, how nice you joined in with the conversation. As you can tell, our little fan club was filled with excitement at your meeting with the President. You kids seemed so composed, frankly alot of us here would have probably fainted. We are huge fans of the President Obama.

You looked extra dapper, I hope you felt at ease and enjoyed ever minute of your experience. I think he is an extraordinary human being, and think we all can benefit from his example. I hope you love learning, it is the key that opens the door to all kinds of possibilities. Please know that the “older timers” here are very invested and doing what we can to make sure the future provides our American kids with a healthy planet, peace and security and opportunity for you to pursue their dreams.
