you mightn’t have heard….

Remember when the Gallup poll for March 6-8 showed the President’s approval rating had dropped to 45% and his disapproval rating had risen to 48%? Jeez, it got nearly as much media coverage as Charlie Sheen. The latest Gallup poll? Not so much:

March 9-11 – Approve: 49 Disapprove: 43

Yep, in the space of a few days the President’s approval has risen by four points and his disapproval has dropped five – despite growing concerns about rising gas prices due to unrest in the Middle East. Jeez, it’d be nice if the media told us.

Wonder if Wisconsin is a factor in the latest poll? If it is, thanks Gov Walker 😉

Hello Chipsticks. This is indeed good news. Frankly I am a bit worried these days. All of these states laying off workers will impact the recovery, and I know that ultimately the president will have to shoulder the burden. It is astonishing that Barack Obama not only inherited a mess, but the messes keep coming.

Today I was reading on Balloon Juice, I do not comment there, but it is fun to read, and they were discussing the fact that all of the liberals, and blue dogs, have written the president a letter asking him not to let the EPA lower the carbon emissions numbers. That included Sherrod Brown, Jay Rockefeller, Debbie Stabenow, Carl Levin, Al Franken and more. If Obama does allow the delay, then he will be the one who gets the bad press, the one who does not care about the environment. They are saying delay the caps. I know they represent their states, but we are already so far behind European countries on this issue. I like those particular people, but how do we ever move forward if no one is willing to work for the country not just their state.

So Chris Matthews will be disappointed since the numbers have climbed again? As I said before, when he was defending the President, he was just being patriotic. There is nothing he can do now to convince me to trust him. Oh and glad POTUS and Plouffe don’t concern themselves with the polls. As for me, if he isn’t at 55%, this country is as stupid as it was when we had Bush in office.

All the so called MSM, care about is the President’s negatives and never report anything positive. But, hey, guys, these are the same losers who didnt give him any credit and they doomed his campaign from day one. But when he kept on winning, they said we his supporters were blind followers and if you remember, they refered to us as a cult. So, lets not lose sleep over these idiots because at the end of the day, it was US his faithful supporters that took him to the finish with no single help from the media that was never in his corner. And we are gonna do it again come 2012.
