heads up …. for tomorrow

The White House says President Barack Obama will address rising oil and gasoline prices at a news conference on Friday.

Fuel prices have been rising amid continued turmoil in Libya, an oil-producing country. News that police opened fire to break up a protest Thursday afternoon in Saudi Arabia also has sparked fears that the unrest could spread to that country. Saudi Arabia is the world’s largest oil exporter.

The news conference is scheduled for 11:15 a.m. Eastern time.

Sending up prayers for my president. Knock ’em dead, Mr. President. I want to see Chipmunk Ed Henry, Stupid Chuckie Todd, Smarmy Jake Tapper and Juvenile Rachel get smacked down royally. And just ignore Faux News. Show ’em whose president cause they seem to keep forgetting. Punks.

Mr. President, I’m going to pray along with Proud of O.
May you continue to rule calmly and intelligently, using your informed awareness of ALL the angles of each issue to help you make wise choices for the country. I pray that none of your opponents’ meanness, irrationality and ignorance of the issues will seriously taint whatever decision you make. Continue to reflect your self-confidence and maturity of manner – many of us appreciate being treated as adults. I also pray that your true supporters will grow in the measure of their loyalty, so that they will get to the point where they truly trust your decisions, without needing you to prove yourself every day. Finally, surrounded as you are my so many wishing you harm, may you daily ‘feel’ the prayers, and love, of those who recognize your resolve for the country, your determination, and your integrity. Silent as we are in comparison to the naysayers, there are many who love and respect you, Mr. President. May blessings fall on you, Sir!

      So be it.

You should send the same directly to the President at Whitehouse.gov. A beatiful and thoughful expression that he deserves to hear.

Please do send to the President. One can never get enough good vibes, and he needs all we have to give.

Guys, I wouldn’t have a clue how to send it to the President, but I would love it if, in the quiet of your hearts and lives, you guys would pray it with me regularly. I want to believe that sending positive vibes towards the President will make a difference, and that the more we try the more me might hold some of the evil thoughts at bay. I have no (religious?) certainty that this is so, but it helps my psyche to believe it. IMO it’s a sad reflection on our ‘humanity’ that negative, mean and/or vicious folks feel more empowered to share their vitriol, and do so without any provocation, while those who wish others well tend to be far more restrained. Another sad fact is that we tend to remember the meanness far more easily than we remember the compliments. So, I give kudos to the community here for its daily effort to remember, note, and compliment the quality of the governing the Obamas are spearheading. Let’s all keep up our efforts to send positive vibes to/for the Obamas, and to find the things we can compliment them on, and less and less time on the meanness of the sad types who are trying to impede his progress.

V C prezOfan2……I’ll send it along for you if you’ld like. Whitehouse.gov is formatted so that you can send an e-mail from their website easily. I think it would be lovely for our President to receive your support, especially if it came directly from you.

I so agree with you and subscribe to the belief that thoughts have energy and therefore have life. I also believe that what we focus on expands. Negativity is a choice. I’ld rather expand the positive.

Proverbs 25: 21-22 “If you see your enemy hungry, go buy him lunch; if he’s thirsty, bring him a drink. Your generosity will surprise him with goodness, and God will look after you.” I believe this scripture for our President because he lives this out- he is good to those who revile him and so I know God will look after President Barack Hussein Obama- may he live long and strong!
