When I hear the President say that 94% of these kids are graduating and that they often come from tough neighborhoods it just inspires me. I hear the pride of these kids in their applause. This is a reminder to me of why I am a Democrat. I believe this is the best thing the President could be doing right now. Inspiring the young people and showing the selfish among us that it’s not just their kids that matter. All kids matter. I am so proud of the President.

‘I believe this is the best thing the President could be doing right now.’

      I so totally agree!

[In a way, I pity the president who will follow President Obama in 2016 because he/she will have big shoes to fill. The role of the persona of the presidency will never be quite the same again IMO.]

Walking on Sunshine > What a lovely name you chose – it brings to mind pictures of movement, and happiness, and warmth! (It also brought back that old song to my mind.) 🙂
