The First Family leads by example. They show how important it is to be involved with your children’s school to support the teacher and to stay up on what is being done at school. Our children’s first teachers are the Parents.

I have a granddaughter in High School who has a research project and is accepting questions on line about her work. Please take a look and ask her some questions.

Cogito – Open for Questions: Ilenna Jones, Decoding Bipolar Disorder
    http://www.cogito.org
Bipolar disorder causes extremes in a person’s mood and behavior. People with bipolar disorder, also called manic depression, go from periods of feeling very high, or manic, to periods of feeling very low, or depressed. This disorder is not a weakness of character; it’s serious medical condition with genetic roots. A person’s susceptibility to bipolar disorder varies widely and is largely hereditary. How many variations it takes within the 25,000 genes in the human genome –and which ones–is the big question.

Wow, Michelle looks great at 7:25 in the morning! I can’t say the same about myself! I am not a fashionista but I love the combo of her white shirt with the black pants, jacket and the blue shoes and bag! =)

It has to be so cool to be the teacher holding the parent teacher conference….no pressure or anything starting your day meeting with the POTUS! Can you imagine how nervous she/or he was? =)

m, Can you imagine how little Sasha feels: her school surrounded by “the suits”, snipers on the roof, 25 cars and an ambulance, her teacher and all her classmates being scanned. But Sasha is so outgoing perhaps she’s gotten used to it by now. Malia might be still mortified by this mass production. When I was a kid, when my Mom entered my classroom, I could have crawled under the desk and my Mom was not the First Lady and my Dad was was not the Leader of the free world!! Bring out the crow bar and try to get me from under the desk. Then I didn’t realize my Mom was just being my Mom.

They are setting example for all parents married or single…it don’t matter how busy we are our children should be our first priority, we as parent supporting the teachers make the times spend with our children easier. So, if the President of this great county can take the time to meet with the teacher…what excuse we have?

Michelle looks fabulous and she has already done her morning exercise, shower, dress. She is one energetic lady.

I remember reading an article about being new parents. Michelle was the one getting up with Malia while he remained sleeping. She decided to fix that so she and a friend would go exercise at 5:30 in the morning so he had to get up and take care of the baby. I’m sure things are quite different now. They are great parents.

They are dressed alike to me. Except Mrs Obama has on the cool shoes. That’s the feminine part. Our Beloved President is dapper.
