Wow, serious expression on our President’s face….I wish I was in the room. So pleased that Rahm Emanuel won the mayoral election. I believe he will be both committed and effective in his service to the citizens of Chicago and the state of Illinois.

It turns out that “fugitive” Democratic Senator Erpenbacher (I know I’ve mangled the spelling of his name) is in Rahm’s city. He had a great talk with Rachel last night about the latest contortions, all of them increasingly petty, that Governor Mubarak Walker is doing to get his union busting legislation passed in Wisconsin.

A great interview and a great outline by Rachel of the dwindling options Walker has to fight the overwhelming support for the protesters. Now it looks like he’s thinking of resorting to bounty hunters to find the senators, arrest them, and haul them home.

Except, according to Wisconsin law, Walker can’t arrest senators while the senate is in session. Doesn’t mean he won’t try it.

Wisconsin citizens certainly can recognize the desperate and despotic actions of Mubarak Walker (hat tip to Joan for a very clever association)….Walker’s actions fly in the face of our Democratic principles. It frightens me that there are Americans that would follow this dude off the cliff.

The President is such an attentive listener. Look at his face. 🙂

Chip I would love it if you could (if possible) to find a video of President Obama arriving at Miami’s airport and one with the kids at the school when he arrives and hear what kind of reception he got and one with the motorcade around town.I know;I know it’s a whole LOT but I know you can do some magic and find it(them) 😉 😆

Hey, in the city of Yonkers, NY. one fire fighter saved the lives of two men whose scaffolding collapsed.. Ending collective bargaining what a bad idea because part of bargaining is fighting for equipment and training.. I believe Repubs will be held acccountable for any future harm that comes to the bravest amongst of all…
