I’ve asked this question before, I know, but an event like this (and like the multiple similar events he’s been hosting around the country) force me to ask it again: has there ever been a President and administration THIS accessible? Did Bush do anything remotely similar to these small business roundtables, hosting bright young people from around the world, dropping in on educational institutions, meeting with community leaders, etc? I mean, this President just seems to do it all. And what is the GOP doing? Are they hosting events like these? Are they talking with regular folk to see how to improve their lives, or are they just having closed door meetings with the rich and powerful to see how much more taxpayer dollars can be shoveled their way and how much more they can screw the little guy?

Wake [the f*ck] Up, America! I know Dennis Kucinch wasn’t as graphic in his admonition at the last DNC, but good grief, America seems to be deaf, dumb, and blind and just needs its ass kicked at this point.

No. I am old enough to have watched many Presidents. No! (If they did, it was reported by the media for the American citizens to behold.) This is why I keep praying and going to be inspired by President Obama. I hope and pray that I will be granted good health and life to help elected him again in 2012!!!!! He is focused, caring, eager to learn everything in order to help us and the world, and he will do it. It keeps moving in the right directions. I have read great books about him, and I have trust as I pray for him and his Administration each day, Give him wisdom, Amighty!!!! Let us pull our shoulders back, put that steel in our spines, and keep our hearts filled with hope and courage to support POTUS!!!!!

As someone said on an earlier post… it is just like mass amnesia, half the country seems to have forgotten what it was like under GW Bush, and the media seems to be completely ignoring important things… like the massing of over 100,000 people country wide in solidarity with the WI demonstrations, and the constant efforts of our president as he tries to encourage excellence in our young people. I agree Hachiko, it’s time we all somehow figure out how to get the truth out there, and let the media know we will not accept anything less.
