    I think he will be a good mayor and certainly an interesting and colorful one. He knows how things work in government and has so many contacts. I would think his experience with President Obama, who has that grassroots organizing experience and the mindset or working with others, would be good for Rahm and Chicago, too. Chicago is a great town. Wishing them well.

    I think this is great news for Illiniois and for President Obama. I honestly believe if the state was against President Obama, they would have voted against Rahm.

    I’m surprised at this news. I must have been occupied elsewhere because the last I heard about the mayoral race was that Rahm was ineligible because of residency. Obviously, I was misinformed.

    Congratulations to Chicago you have the best mayor for this time. Someone who is not afraid to work for the people and to plan the recovery of a city. Good luck all.
