mayor ****ing rahm!!!

For old times’ sake (2005)….

President Obama salutes his former staffer on his victory Tuesday in Chicago’s mayoral election: “I want to extend my congratulations to Rahm Emanuel on a well-deserved victory tonight. As a Chicagoan and a friend, I couldn’t be prouder. Rahm will be a terrific mayor for all the people of Chicago.

“I’ve also just talked to President Obama,” Emanuel said in his victory speech, to which the crowd broke out in cheers. “He sends you his love and affection for his hometown.”

Heh.. mine is too- I won’t say anything further on my filthy mouth.. years of practice in the military.. although I can’t put all the blame there, as according to my mom, I was writing ‘nasty’ words in chalk on the sidewalks as soon as I learned to spell 😉 lots of tobasco sauce and soap stuffed in my mouth over my childhood- so hats of to you for your ‘astericks’ 😉

I think he will be a perfect f****ing mayor for Chicago. It’s a gritty, smart, classy town and he’s a gritty, street smart, classy guy. I think his experience in Washington in congress and the WH will be very helpful. He knows how things work. He’s not a cream puff, he’s tough. I think he will do well for the city. I wish Mayor Rahm and the windy city the very best.

Must join you all in congratulations to Rahm….wish him and Chicago all the best. But, didn’t you all just enjoy that video of the roast.?….President Obama had this ability to make people laugh for a while. I was not aware of his skills in 2005. As I said the other day, damn he’s good.

I am so happy for Rahm! I never understood why so many came to hate him. I think he will do right by Chicago’s inner city. He always tell the story of his mother who was a civil right activist. She made sure her boys were exposed to the injustices in the world. Poor poor Mosley Braun…she truly made as ass of herself up the last moments.

    Mosley Braun good ridiance!!!
Lost all respect for her after she defended a military dictator in Nigeria. she is a fraud.
As for rahm, his farewell speech from the whitehouse with PBO still makes me teary just thinking about it.
there is so much love and admiration on both ends. I think he was exactly what the president needed as a chief of staff for the first 2 years. someone that very tough and menacing. i think he did a great job preparing him for the next stage knowing that there a many wolves in sheep’s clothing that he is going to have to work with.

I am absolutely thrilled for Mayor Elect Rahm Emanuel. Good for him. He landed his dream job. I think he will make an outstanding mayor of Chicago. What an amazing ride for him. I hope it drives the frustrati professional left nuts. You can just imagine how disappointed they are about this win.

I hope the conservatives were listening when it was stated that Jesse Jackson, Sr. tried to rally the African American vote for Moseley-Braun, and I hope they notice that it didn’t work. I’m sick of them saying that we voted overwhelmingly for BO in 2008 because he was AA, which is not true. We vote the same way they do. We vote for the candidate that we think will do the best job. I am very interested in what they’d have to say about the AAs in Chicago who decided NOT to vote for CMB in large numbers. I don’t mean to be rude, but I’m sick of them saying this. They need to STFU and stop trying to insult our intelligence.
