I love the expression of all those grown men in turbans! They are in awe of him!
The music brings me to tears….these two exceptional people deserve so much more support and respect then they are being afforded by the people of our nation. Breaks my heart….I know I need to focus on all the millions that love and appreciate them. But right now my tears are because of the ignorant and the hateful……it’s just so wrong.
The video has the exact same effect on me Sue. I’ve watched it multiple times since Chipsticks posted it back in november. And each time I get emotional.

I totally agree. I think it’s also because the US media was full of lies about the cost of the visit (as reported by Bachman & Co), and it was right after the “shellacking” of the November elections. President Obama and Michelle were just busy and focused in India – working hard to bring jobs back to the US and engage the Indian people. The contrast in coverage (i.e. no coverage in the US except for the lies, versus full 24/7 coverage in India, with people glowing about the President and First Lady). It was a really poignant time.
