President Barack Obama walks down the stairs of Air Force One at Andrews Air Force Base, Md., Thursday, Feb. 3
“Walks”?! As Barb noted in the previous post, the step-running thing is still happening – our pleas have fallen on deaf ears!! I hope my mother doesn’t spot this photo 😕 😆

Don’t worry my two sons are in that forty-something age group and if I hear them slowly walk down the steps I know something is wrong.
They just can’t wait to get things going.
I worry alot bit as well, but I think our President is far to focused to allow his body to get ahead of his brain. And that I believe is when accidents happen. For us worry warts, lets keep our fingers crossed, just in case.
When I was in DC, I saw plenty of people running up and down the escalators to the subway, and then I realized why the President feels so comfortable running down the steps from the plane. Because he’s so used to running down those long escalator steps. Although I now understand it, it doesn’t make it any easier to watch.
I don’t mind seeing him run up and down steps…it presents the image of a youthful, vibrant President; full of energy and life leading us toward a hopeful and exciting future. We should all feel good about that…
Scares me to death every time he runs down the steps of that plane — I am always saying under my breath “Hold on to the railing! Hold on to the railing!” Yes, I know he’s young and athletic and I love that, but the mom in me wants him to HOLD ON so he doesn’t take a tumble!
He actually made a trip to Penn today and apparently not even one word about it on the news.
Funny Barb and Chipsticks…LOL!!! I often find myself thinking “please, please, please be careful Mr. President” LOL!
the step running thing has me sooooo nervous!!! Maybe we need to talk to Michelle? : )
I know, I pray every time I see him jogging down the steps. Maybe we do need to send Michelle a note. 🙂
No need to send Michelle a note because they both run up the steps.

Step running thing, I love. Lol. And I enjoy watching him climb those steps to make a speech.

He needs some gloves on those hands!
