The changing ‘looks’ of Michelle O! Looking at that first picture I got to thinking that what I really love about our FLOTUS is that she does not always look like a ‘First’ mannequin. In the past whenever you saw pictures of the First Ladies they almost always seemed stiff and statue-like, even when the occasion was not formal. Heck, most of the top (ex-)politician’s wives look awkward or unsure of themselves when in the camera’s eye (think Cindy Mc, Todd P, Laura B). Michelle, on the other hand, shows a range of persona, each one fitting naturally into the task of the moment. She is quite obviously relaxed in her skin. In each situation she is always a ‘real’ person. No wonder people react to her so warmly. IMO she is a wonderful role model for women of all ages.
I SO agree with you VC! The fluidity of her style is what makes her such an icon & everyday person at the same time. Which is why the so called “Fashion Industry Elites” would never understand/appreciate this gem of a woman. I resent the baseless critism from the likes of ODLR. His hypocrisy is unbareble to me. For years he didnt say a word when his garments were being worn by other first ladies, but the minute this first ladies his garments he’s the number one critic! UGH
Sorry, I digress!
I love the First Lady’s reaction to the public. She seems genuinely happy to see whoever she’s waving to. She seems to be able to fit everything in and still dress to fit the occasion. I love sharing the great pictures this site provides. Keep
up the great work…

I love her boots!
@EDP4BHO:
I agree with you. I don’t particularly care for boots (too bulky, IMO), but I would make an exception for these. They are very attractive.
