Saw this show earlier today and will admit to a few tears 😦
Mrs. Obama asked that we visit http://www.serve.gov/ to see where/how we can help.

That show today just had me in tears. To see the pain that those families feel for their loss. The mother who travels all the way to Arlington to be with her son who died in battle. The wife who had to adjust to the injuries her husband is recovering from knowing he will never be whole again. We must stand up for our Warriors and their families and never take them for granted again.

A very emotional hour. Truly a cause worthy of both our attention and our engagement. Michelle articulates so beautifully the language of the heart.

You’re a star Donna, thank you so much. I’ll try to edit the videos and post them as just one video. I’m a bit tied up with work today, but should be able to update everything later on. Thanks again Donna.

Thanks, Donna; looking forward to the full thing, Chipsticks! Going on the road soon, so it’ll be something to look forward to for my Friday evening ‘fun’.

Corey Briest’s reaction to our FLOTUS says it all for me. Despite so many tearful moments throughout the show, when he gave his thumbs up and smiled so broadly in response to FLOTUS, that was my absolute favorite moment. It absolutely confirms what so many of us feel about our wonderful FLOTUS. He sees with his heart what is real and true.
