As it should be! I love, love my VP – not to mention that other guy 🙂

Isn’t that a great pic of Obama/Biden?—two really great guys, enjoying each other.

I particularily love this photograph of them, they have such a genuine rapport with each other. They’re a formidable team.

And with their dazzling smiles, they completely light up a room.

Just imagine what a downer this is for the gasbags in the media. They would love nothing more than to hear that there are problems with the relationship. I am thrilled to see the chemistry between them. It’s a beautiful thing. I can’t imagine anyone else leading this country right now. Joe Biden was the right choice for VP. It still boggles the mind that Evan Bayh and Tim Kaine were ever on the short list.

I’m glad to see you here, futiledemocracy. It was the “constantly finding mad right wingers blogging ultra fox news bile all over the blogging world” that brought me and others to TOB and the other newly-created Pragmati blogs.

I will second what majii said. We now have all of these fabulous sites we can comment on without having to listen to the ranting of the unhappy. Great support system.

Chipsticks, I love my Joe. Unlike many others on Haggiana’s site and DK, I thought Joe was a great choice. He is a sincere, giving, and kind man who can relate to all of us. I think he has done a great job. It seems so real this relationship between the Prez and Joe. I think they truly respect and like each other.

I’m still in love with Joe Biden. He is a very handsome, intelligent, sexy man, a good father to his kids, and a good husband. He and Dr. Jill complement each other so well.

Majii, weren’t you madly in love with some guy named BHO not too long ago? Some women are sooo greedy! 🙂 Let’s share, you take one and I’ll take the other (before the others come back and start haggling).

I love them both so much, but I’ve loved our VP longer! Let’s agree to share since I don’t want to choose! LOL

Y’all are both going to have to share! Of course I respect and admire our Vice President, but I also find him completely adorable. I love his openness and willingness to be emotional and sentimental — he seems so comfortable with who he is that he’s not afraid to show his softer side. Very attractive in such a good-looking man, isn’t it?

And I have said before that there have NEVER been two better smiles in the history of the US government than our President and VP!

Majii, I saw PBO in 2004, but when the debates started for the 2008 election, my first choice out of the group was actually Joe. That was mostly because I felt comfortable with him because he was someone I felt I could trust. After the second or third debate, I realized that I had fallen for Obama.
After that, there was no turning back.

I’ve been fond of Joe Biden many many years.. He and ‘that one’ are perfect together. thank you for the photos: just the brilliance of their smiles together ought to be enough to light a city.. let alone their great minds & hearts.

A lot of the realtionships we see in this administration seem genuinely warm, and I find that quite impressive. I would like to think that the President’s personality and his calm ‘no drama’ leadership contribute a lot to that. Yes, Ms Chipsticks, thank you for sharing such great pictures – often ones we’ve not seen before. I would like you to know that even though I don’t say the words every day, my daily presence here (no matter how late I get to come by)is a ‘thank you’! [I not only don’t revisit sites with negative posts, I don’t comment when the site posts are okay but the comments are acerbic.] You are doing a terrific job which is much appreciated!

I watched Michelle Obama on Oprah. Tonight, I watched Biden on PBS followed by coming to this site. Once I turn off my computer, I will curl in bed and read Jonathan Alter’s The Promise: President Obama Year One. Needless to say, I can never get enough of these two couples. We have the best leaders in this century.

Obamalia, I sound just like you. I think my husband feels I am having some kind of a nervous breakdown, because all I talk about is Obama. When I go to bed at night, I have been reading Revivial by Richard Wolffe. I loved Jonathan’s book too. Wolffe has so much inside dope. It is great reading. Richard is a little snarky at times, Jonathan is never snarky–even when he was on KO.

Just watched the entire interview with the Newshour on-line. I was almost brought to tears of admiration and gratitude for our VP. Those who think he is only a windbag do not know Joe. He is so smart, informed, and charming; the paradox of a sophisticated everyman. He just beams with pride at the trust that the president puts in him. What a team! Two men, who on the surface would seem so different, but are so complementary. How lucky we are to have them. It is bad for the nation when the VP and Pres. are not true partners (think JFK and Johnson; Clinton and Gore). I love the photos that show their big smiles and I- love- you- man, hand on the shoulders embrace. The prez. is always generous and public with his praise of the VP.

I also noticed that in the midst of his relaxed eloquence, the VP still has a little bit of the stutter that he suffered from when he was younger that his son, Beau, mentioned at the convention. To have battled this condition to rise as far as he has says something about his strength, courage snd determination; no wonder he and the prez. get along so well.

I am so full of gratitude for this remarkable team; the best POTUS and VPOTUS relationship in our history.
