no one’s interested in the state of the union, you know

…well, apart from the 42 million Americans who watched it last night (figures just released). Thirty-one million watched the President’s Tucson speech.

    A smart man once said:

“One voice can change a room, and if one voice can change a room, then it can change a city, and if it can change a city, it can change a state, and if it change a state, it can change a nation, and if it can change a nation, it can change the world. Your voice can change the world.”

I also think he is wonderful. Some day we will have a book of President Obama’s quotes.

I have a question. Who are the people sitting in the divide right under President Obama and did you see our favorite Secret Security man?

Also many of the women chose their power color red. I believe, Hillary was in blue. Kathleen Sebelius looked beautiful.

It’s good to see so many Americans interested in what this POTUS has to say. Before 44, I never watched SOTU speeches. And let us not forget the rest of the world tuned in also. 😀

Shame on CNN for being the only network to air that nut job Bachman response to SOTU spewing lies and hatred rhetoric and call it news. Shame on them.

Anyone watching Amer. Idol? No? Well, anyhoo, the last contestant, who had a great voice by the way, is a recent Harvard grad, and she said she is currently an intern at the WH. And she added that she just loves this President. Then to make sure that wasn’t taken in the wrong way she laughingly added, “Not in a Monica Lewinsky kind of way, strictly platonic.” They loved her. She’s got it goin’ on—Harvard, WH, and now she’s “going to Hollywood”.

    42 million!
I was really pleased today to read all the quotes from the SOTU and telephone calls about it today. It is so nice to see so many people paying attention. I hope this is a sign that people are taking citizenship seriously.

I am really excited that 6 million viewers watched from whitehouse.gov. The graphics that they used were very effective communication tools. Whitehouse.gov is the best place to start for factual information and perspective on the work of this Adminsistration.

I watched every minute of it on C-span without the commentary and it was a powerful speech. President Obama knocked it out of the park. The Congress knows it whether some of them will admit it or not. We know he did!
