CNN: On the eve of his State of the Union address, Barack Obama’s approval rating is at its highest level in more than a year, according to a new national poll……Fifty-five percent of people questioned in the poll say they approve of how Obama’s handling his duties in the White House, with 44 percent saying they disapprove.
“The 55 percent figure is seven points higher than in December and 13 points higher than his September mark,” says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland. “The president’s approval rating has not been this high since November of 2009 in CNN polling.”

Same here. I’m not sure what’s going on, but I hope that his approval stays in the 50s.
I think America is having a total “WTF did I just do” moment (especially on the moderate and Independent side). Hopefully they can stay the course because the next 2 years are going to slow for Congress.
I always thought the Prez. was polling much higher than was being fed to us. These people (MSM) always wanted to portray the Prez. as polling poorly to skew people to the right. All they ever covered were the haters, naysayers and teabaggers making most people believe that we had abandoned the president. I know things werent good i.e the economy, but I think most sane people knew he was doing all he could after having been handed an economy in the toilet. In any case, am glad to see that people are finally waking up.
