When you are always giving, like you both do, you too need to be recharged. It’s got to be the real thing, because even after two years of intense stress, they still look at each other the same way. My husband walked in to see what I was looking at and I felt impelled to tell him that I thought he was beautiful, too. The usual response — Oh, not me. But he is. At 77 he’s still a beautiful man.
Simply stunning. Can’t believe it’s only been two years – they’ve done so much, and really have taken on the roles of President and First Lady. I’m so grateful for these two people who are leading this world at this time – we really needed them.
It doesn’t matter how many times I watch this video – I still get tears in my eyes. I continue to be amazed by their loving and gentle spirits, their kindness and compassion, and how much they have sacrificed to do what they do. I have so much love and admiration for both of them.
My thoughts as well, I can’t get away from the term “remarkable” when I think of POTUS and FLOTUS…..they are simply that.
And I am grateful everyday for the gifts they bestow on our nation.
