happy birthday, first lady

Time: POTUS and FLOTUS, along with Malia and Sasha, entered the cafeteria of Stuart Hobson Middle School around 11:15 am, and were greeted by the folks in the room with a rousing rendition of “Happy Birthday” for the first lady, who is celebrating her 47th birthday today. POTUS looked relaxed and enjoyed singing along…. when they finished FLOTUS said, “All right let’s get to work. This is embarrassing.”

Michelle Obama is greeted by volunteers singing Happy Birthday to her as she arrives with her husband President Barack Obama and daughters Malia and Sasha to volunteer in honor of Martin Luther King Jr Day at Stuart-Hobson Middle School on Capitol Hill in Washington, January 17
