Poor Pete! He seems really adverse to attention or really camera shy. He acts like me in front of a crowd of people…uncomfortable. The video here is filmed from the side & you can’t see how uncomfortable & sorta teary he looks when the prez praised him. I feel your pain, Pete!

cat48….I am the same way, and feel for those that seem to share that discomfort. I especially love our President’s sense of humor, I don’t know what Pete’s voice sounds like, but I loved President Obama’s attempt to impersonate him. Clearly, Pete is well respected and appreciated. I think this administration does a good job of employing high caliber people/talent.

President Obama makes me laugh all the time. Great humor, and what a great sense of style. While we are all watching and listening to him, I can’t help but notice the fine suits and ties he wears. He and the First Lady make a very stylish couple.

I think President Obama chose good. I know Daley from living in Chicago for 6 years. He is a good man, all about business. And he do work well with just about everyone. He is also good with making money and working the election machine. That is what President Obama is going to need going into Whitehouse 2.0. And the next election. He know everyone that is anyone, and know how to work them. So with the hardest election fight in history coming up, President Obama is going to need all the wheeler dealers working on his behalf he can get.

Now I hope he hire some really good speakers to get the Democrats message out to the public. Some people with good speaking voices and great personalities. Some good short soundbites. And hire a good staff to man the web like they had before.
I’m excited about these next 2 years. I think we haven’t seen anything yet 🙂
