‘Scott & Barry, 3rd grade, 1969’
A former Manoa, Hawaii resident sent President Barack Obama an old photo of the two of them taken while they were third-grade classmates at Noelani Elementary School, requesting an autograph …. He received the autographed picture back, as well as a personally signed thank-you note.
Scott Inoue, now a chiropractor in Stockton, Calif., said the small, black-and-white photo had been stashed away for almost 40 years at his childhood home in Manoa. For some reason, Inoue said, as he was growing up he always remembered that photo and wondered what became of “Barry.”

Those darn Obama kids always flip-flopping. I saw this pic and all I see is Sasha. But Malia is the one who looks like the female version of him (chin, coloring, height). I just don’t know who looks more like who.

Our dear President has always been a smiler from the baby pictures I have seen of him until now. It is a real compliment to know that a friend in third grade still thought about him through the years. It speaks of the positive impression he has made upon others thoughout his life.

Goodness Sasha looks just like him.
Our president was hugging folks even as a kid! That is one of the things I like most about our president. He not only likes talking with people, he likes hugging them, too! Sasha does look like her dad when he was a kid. Malia looks like a combination of the president and FL Michelle. I think PBO bears a strong resemblance to his grandfather. I saw a pic of him and his grandfather when he was a child, and I was surprised at how much he resembles his grandfather today.
Yes, the president looks like his maternal grandfather, chin and all.
