Senate votes 71-26 to ratify the START treaty
Politico: President Obama is calling a press conference for 4:15 p.m., most likely the last thing he’ll do at the White House before leaving for Hawaii. The presser is in the South Court Auditorium in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building.

    Great news!!! I thank not only our president and others involved, but I want to thank Senator Reid for letting the republicans know that they could either take care of business or stay until Christmas Eve. This proves that they got the message.
