“that’s the nature of compromise”

President Barack Obama signs the middle-class tax cut bill in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building on December 17, 2010 in Washington DC. The measure would extend tax cuts for families at every income level, renew jobless benefits for the long-term unemployed and enact a new one-year cut in Social Security taxes that would benefit nearly every worker who earns a wage.

It was a deal that POTUS did to help those who are down and out. Thank you Pres Obama for working hard to regular folks like us!

Bravo, and yes he did do it to help the everyday people of the country. Still, I cringed when he had to sign. Now how does Granny Mitch think he looks generous at Xmas time standing there with the most generous man in the room? I can’t stand him.

Mitch McConnell is sure crowding the President….it bothered me immediately when they walked in. Wish there was such a thing as a virtual slap….just kidding…sorta.

It would be nice if we all went to whitehouse.gov and sent a thank you email to our President for standing up for us today, huh?

Excellent idea – it really couldn’t have been easy to hand over these billions to the rich. But,I hope it was some small comfort knowing the many millions of unemployed that he has helped, and millions more who can breathe a little easier over this holiday season – knowing their taxes aren’t going up or that they can still rely on the relief from the stimulus tax credits. Good work done today.
