Quick update guys! Since CS is super busy today I am sharing this good news. Finally Tax Bill Headed To President’s Desk After Passage In House.
Congress passed the most far-reaching tax bill in a decade late Thursday, averting across-the-board tax increases, enacting new breaks for individuals and businesses and laying a marker for how Washington might work in an era of divided government.
The bill goes to the White House for President Barack Obama’s signature after the House overcame persistent liberal opposition and passed it with an unexpectedly large bipartisan majority of 277-148. The measure passed the Senate earlier in the week also with an overwhelming majority.

Have a great day. I’ll be checking your blog first thing in the morning! Your blog has helped me to recover my sanity after witnessing all of the nastiness I’ve seen coming from the frustrati recently. Thanks so much.

This is off topic but I wanted to share this:

“Obama had a bad November. Self-confessedly shellacked in the midterm election, he fled the scene to Asia and various unsuccessful meetings, only to return to a sad-sack lame-duck Congress with ghostly dozens of defeated Democrats wandering the halls.” ….Chas. Krauthammer, Wash. Post 12/17/10

Well I don’t recall him having to “flee” the country. A trip like that would’ve been very, very difficult to pull off just because one would need to flee. Also, I recall his trip as very successful in subsequent days. Another side jab inspite of successes. These conservative bastards are the most evil in the world, bar none.

Agreed. I thought the Asia trip was unbelievable successful for the Administration. And I’m guess the people who will get jobs from the deal that came from this trip feel the same way. I love how the tax deal has divided the GOP 2012 hopefuls. They don’t know which way to turn. This may be a show worthy of popcorn.

I guess Krauthammer conveniently forgot that the trip to Asia was postponed twice. First because of the healthcare reform bill in March and second because of the Gulf oil spill in the summer. I know Republicans have an aversion to facts, but those are the facts. The trip to Asia was rescheduled for after in election in November. Krauthammer’s sanctimonious use of the word “flee” to Asia is just silly, but true to form.

@AnitaW and Ladyhawke. Love your info. Yes, the trip was planned for months and the msm tried to pan it as his escape from the election. Bastards, all. I will never vote for a republican again in my life…local or national. Even if my son ran for something as one. No sir, buddy.
