I think it all turned out the way it needed to. And I’m so glad that we say President Obama – and I was a staunch Hillary supporter at first.

On another note – he just keeps going and going, doesn’t he? Someone said yesterday “he’s our North Star”. So right!

I was thinking the same thing about his busy schedule. It is exhausting. I just don’t know how he does it. I like to call him the energizer bunny president because he keeps going and going and going. I still can’t get over that Asia trip. There’s no rest for the weary.

Can you imagine the half term governor or the get off my lawn senator (or any of the potential GOP presidential candidates) dealing with this grueling schedule?

As an Illinoisan I’ve been Obama all the way, since the very first news leaks about this new and extraordinary person/politician in Chicago. Followed him minute by minute ever since and knew that he was uniquely gifted and talented. And he is the hardest working President I’ve ever seen—-his schedule is excruciating as he juggles a multitude of monumental issues. He works late into the night by all reports—as evidenced by the circles that often appear beneath his eyes. He cares. I like Hillary at the State Dept. too, thought it was a brilliant, magnanimous appointment by Obama. That’s another high pressure job with so much at stake around the world. No wonder she recently stated that this will be her last public office. She deserves some peace and some normalcy finally.

I think after the economic collapse and Obama became a shoe-in Hillary blew a sigh of relief. I truly believe no one wanted to take this on, not even John “The Fundamentals of our Economy are Strong” McCain and his nitwit running mate. Everyone can complain and bitch and moan but few have the patience and discipline to make decisions.

Please,….McCain was in love with the “idea” of being president. He would not have lasted a month, I feel. Ever notice the dumb things he did during the campaign….suspension, dumb cluck from up north, losing his memory, calling out “my fellow prisoners”, wandering around on stage. He was much too generous with the concession on election night. Now he gets to bitch about President Obama, trying to sound tough, but he’s safe, and lazy to boot….doesn’t have to work hard at all. He was a wimp. Good riddance to tackiness. JMHO

First, he got his lip busted and within a few days resumed that dazzling smile. Second, he did not got quite what he wanted during the elections, still smiling. Third, he had to make a tough political decision recently and stick by his guns. He is very annoyed but that smile wins out. I believe he has a clear conscience that he is doing what he thinks is right and that he does know how to lead. Yes, he has had to learn a few things but he got it and got it quickly. He is going to come out smelling like a rose. Yet, through it all he smiles. God,do guide, guard and continually protect and love him and shield his heart and mind and his lovely family in Jesus Name. AMEN!

Anybody ever notice how Hillary looks at Barack in these photos? She seems full of admiration – maybe even affection. I don’t remember the last time I saw a photo of her looking at Bill that way.
