A debate about billionaire tax cuts while people are losing their unemployment benefits. Un-freaking-believable man. Unbelievable.

2 million people, today, lost unemployment benefits because of Rethuglicans in Congress. 2 MILLION! How do we stand by and let that happen? Huh? There are 48 republicans in the senate, and because of those 48 bastards, 2,000,000 people lost the only lifeline they have left.

    It makes me so mad!

It makes me furious as well. One of the most reliable ways to stimulate the economy, and at the same time ease the burdens of millions that are struggling to meet their basic needs, is with unemployment benefits. The Republicans are ruthless, callous and apparently are more invested in the well being of a small minority of very rich and powerful Americans, than the economy or the well being of the remaining 98%.
I like the bumper sticker I’ve been seeing with some regularity lately, “Friends don’t let friends vote Republican”.

I need this bumper sticker. I work in a very Republican town and company, and there are still McCain/Palin stickers on some people’s cars – and the “hopey/changey” one makes me want to do someone’s car some damage… 🙂 I’d love to drive around with this bumper sticker, because I really think Republicans need to start being ashamed to come out into the light. They’re reprehensible and without souls.
