My granddaughter Ilenna just got her acceptance letter for admission to Dartmouth College with a QuestBridge College Match scholarship. My son is so proud and so am I, Dartmouth was her first choice and she has a 4.7 GPA and was already studying at Johns Hopkin and doing research at the Medical School.
The President and the First Lady are excellent role models for all of our children.

She has chosen Neuroscience for a major already. And yes, as her dad, I have used President Obama as a role model, especially when it comes to the concept of you are the product of what you do, not just who you know, or the circumstances of your birth.
