This collage is so poignant and touching, this week especially, when the world is in love with this amazing person, but he’s vilified at home. It really isn’t easy being him or his wonderful wife – but I’m so glad they are who they are!

Beautiful, beautiful. Who made the video? It kinda reminds of one such video that was on Youtube during the 2008 campaign featuring the romantic love between candidate Obama and Michelle Obama. It seems someone close to the campaign made it in honor of their wedding anniversary, for it had some never before seen footage of the candidate and his wife as well as extra behind-the-scenes shots from the campaign. I have searched for it again since but it seems to have disappeared.

This made me teary-eyed, especially considering the pure venom being spewed on our airwaves here stateside plus the idiotic saber-rattling the repugs are pitching to “investigate” the President.

Who is doing the song? It adds so much to the video. ThanX, again, India for extending such a warm welcome to our First Couple of the United States.

Brought tears to my eyes. May God continue to bless, defend, safeguard, guide and cherish our amazing President and First Lady!

    Hey everyone,

Thrilled you liked the video, the Indian trip was just so beautiful I thought it deserved a tribute! The song is called Superman (It’s Not Easy) by the band Five For Fighting. Here’s the official video for the song (you’ll have to click through to YouTube to see it):

I’ve been coming on here for a while and never leaving a message. This video and song really touched me and I just have to say thanks to the person responsible.

Chipsticks – thank you for doing this site. It’s really a haven of sanity! There’s another good song that would go well with the India pictures: “That I would be good” by Alanis Morissette. But it’s another sad, but strong, one. I don’t know how to do the picture and song stuff, so hopefully, someone else will try…

I just happened upon this site and I loved it. This is my first comment. I just enjoyed the colorful pictures of this Indian trip. I am so proud of my President and my First Lady, they are so special, I wish that America would wake up and see that this President is a good man, who was dealt a heavy blow by Bush and his crap.

Hi Margaret, thank you so much for visiting, great to have you here! Couldn’t agree with you more, considering the way Bush destroyed the economy and America’s relations with the world it’s pretty obvious President Obama is doing a spectacular job – well, obvious unless you’re a hate-filled right wing nut job or a far left idealogue!

Thanks again for dropping in Margaret, appreciate it!
