but, but, but …. they said he’d tank after the midterms?!

Gallup: President Barack Obama earned a 47% approval rating from the American public in Gallup Daily tracking from Friday through Sunday …. former Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush saw their job approval ratings decline after their parties’ midterm election losses in 1994 and 2006, respectively … Bush’s approval fell from 38% to 33% in less than a week …While the increase in Obama’s job approval rating since the election is small in absolute terms, the fact that it is up at all after his party’s major congressional and gubernatorial losses is notable

The way he handled the losses were of course masterful. People love humility.

Also MSM build up to the midterms was that we were gonna have historical Bill Clinton type losses of both House and Senate. Their meme failed and people notice. Lastly I hate polls but this one is gratifying. Thanks for all the updates CS. Bless POTUS and everybody that supports all his efforts. Bless the haters too, they are easily conned by fear mongers, so we gotta do like POTUS Obama and have some compassion for them. 🙂

ok…the main street media seems to have all gotten the same memo to go all negative on our President. I mean they were truly negative before , but now it seems like they are going way out of the ordinary. I have almost given up on watching any news at all unless its Keith Olberman, Rachel Maddow or Lawrence Odonell. CNN’s Jack cafferty just ran a spot about how the Romance was gone with Obama and his followers and how no one likes or wants Obama anymore. Well, First of all Mr.Cafferty, he is President Obama not just Obama, so next time address him correctly and Second of all, He has plenty of followers that stand by him and support him. President Obama needs to know that not all the polls and media pundits represent the entire U.S, and unlike some people , we want to see our President succeed! President Obama has done so much in only two years and they act like he has been hiding under his desk. Why can’t the media give credit where credit is due…..I apologize for going on and on , but I feel like throwing my remote at the t.v. sometimes. lol anyways

All MSM cares about is ratings; It does not matter who they trash. I like our President’s demeanor, calm cool and collected. This is not a John Wayne, or the Shootout at the OK Corral. That is the way some Americans want him to behave. He’s getting a lot of things done(i.e., health care) in spite of all these crazy people trying to provoke him to lose his reserved personality. Time out Republicans, Teabaggers and any other fringe, this is not a High Noon kind of man.

You know, I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how we (PBO’s supporters) respond to the media. I think we give them too much credit (power?) when we act like we need validation from them about how we are to feel about PBO. I just ignore them (don’t even watch the msm anymore), nd get my news from the internet. Thank God for this site; Chipsticks, you are a mental lifesaver–along with some other positive, supportive sites such as weeseeyou.

We know what the real 411 is about our wonderful President and First Lady, and we don’t need mindless dorks such as Chucky boy Todd to tell us anything. Liars!

Don’t know about you guys, but nobody I know has ever been polled…ever!

And everyone I know adores and supports our magnificent President! So I pay no attention to the contrived polls which are only exploited and manipulated to support a sinister agenda…

Ruth dear, vote against the media and their corporate master…switch them all off permanently…I have!

Chipsticks, you crack me up with that caption ” People calm down. I got this. Are you a copywriter?

Hello Perry!! Sadly I can’t take credit for that caption, which I LOVE! Found the pic on Google Images, but there are lots with similar captions. So don’t be praising me, I don’t deserve it!
