Our National Anthem-heartwarming and played very nicely too. Thank you, India, for extending such a warm welcome to our President and our First Lady of the United States of America.

What the hell?? Did the news reporter just say the Presidential Limo cost $2 billion. Where the hell are they getting their facts from? This is how that 200 million a day/2 billion trip rumor got started. And if a Republican tries to bring this up let them know that the cost of the limo was not announced but a London newspaper (The Guardian, use them if you think they are reliable) said it was around $300,000 (but know one really knows). Another fact is that the Secret Service budget for 2010 was 1.483 billion. So it is insanely impossible for this trip to cost $2 billion when that is more than their budget to protect the President, First Family, VP, Second Family, Secretaries, Former Presidents and First Ladies, and other VIPS for the entire year.

Jeez. It’s too early for me to be this angry.

I’m pretty down to earth, but found this welcoming ceremony to be quite impressive. Our President and Flotus reflect all that is positive and dynamic about America. I am so proud of both of them. May they always know the protection of God’s loving embrace.
