Gosh, I love it that Mrs.Obama blends with this nation of people. The hues are the same. I sometime feel comfortable around people that look like me and I suppose these young people sense that comfort level here also. It just drifts in naturally. I am so happy that both our President and First Lady are visiting India. I am almost certain I will get no work done for the next 12 days while they are visiting these countries. I can hardly wait for them go to Jakarta where President Obama spent 4 years of his early childhood. I understand he speaks (conversational) the language of Indonesia. I love the Obama family so much and they represent the U.S. so well, regardless to what some of these angry Americans say. Envy is a very destructive emotion.
I know – I’ve been glued to the screen watching footage on Indian live stream (link below). I’ll be useless for the next few days, clearly… Glad I’ll have some company!
Thank you so much for this collection of media coverage of their India visit so far, Chipsticks. I’ve been busy all day and just got a chance to check out what’s been going on.
These are great pics. Look how these kids are smiling. They’re so happy. The people in other countries love our President & First Lady. It’s a shame some folks in America are so jealous of them & can’t appreciate what they’re doing for US.
God bless them in every way, protect them night & day.
She is being described as India’s new heroine…
I simply adore Michelle Obama! Very first time in India, and straight off an 18+ hour flight with accompanying jet lag, she slips right into the spirit of things lovingly embracing and dancing and effortlessly inspiring underprivileged children with such warmth and a genuine caring…No airs, no hang-ups, just an unaffected grace and ease of interaction that immediately put all her little hosts at ease…

Aw, thank you Perry! I’m going nowhere, sticking with President Obama all the way – that’d 2016 😉
I second that!
Mrs Obama is a gift not just to her husband but to all of us. What a beautiful spirit.

Children are genuine. If they are smiling and laughing, it is for real. They are thoroughly enjoying this.
