The Obama Diary 
I love the pic of Sec. Ken Salazar and Pres. Obama. I have always enjoyed how much he loves his president and this pic captures it perfectly.
I think many of them having now worked closely with this President have come to realize and appreciate the decent and amazing man he is.
Unlike many others in power, including some of his predecessors, he’s not mercenary and does not emasculate, control, or micro-manage his appointees. He treats them with much respect and dignity and does not require them to kiss up to him nor does he hold them hostage with their jobs or attempt to manipulate them. But it seems that Americans appear to prefer people who mistreat and disrespect others – these are now considered admirable traits. Decency and thoughtfulness not so much – that’s weakness apparently.
