This is what, I think makes him the happiest, aside from being with his family, is being out meeting and hugging Americans. Whomever can’t see that this is an unpretentious, caring, dedicated human being, then there is something wrong inside your head and you can’t make a human connection. Huggs feel good and they connect you.

President Obama just made her day – good for him, Ms Childs and all of us who believe in the common decency and dignity that President Obama exhudes every day even as many feell free to constantly insult him

His mother did a phenomenal job and can I just say what a phenomenal woman she must have been.
A woman way ahead of her time, who broke barriers when it was not only politically incorrect, but extremely dangerous.

Globalcitizenlinda, I sense that President Obama looks at the insulting remarks and the exaggerations as having no “Class”. I think this is why he doesn’t do it until it is absolutely necessary to encourage his Party. Demeaning and insulting people just seems totally out-of-character for him.

Good people the world over recognize how intrinsically good and decent President Obama is.

Some before him have been described as smart and brilliant, but President Obama gets to be not just smart and brilliant but intrinsically decent and a good person in every sense of the word.

Yet the media loves to tell us that the President cannot connect with ordinary Americans.

That last hug is alittle to much. This is Michelle’s man.
