“just call me joe”

Great article in The Atlantic about Joe Biden

The Salesman

Experienced, emotional, marked by personal tragedy and political setback, Joe Biden is in many ways the antithesis of the president he serves. But his stock has risen steadily in the West Wing, and with the Democrats poised to lose much of their leverage in the midterm elections, the vice president’s unique skills and attributes may prove ever more crucial to his administration’s success.

Joe has a very warm and engaging smile. The Mainstream Media is so sensationalistic, why are the Democrats poised to lose their majority? Is it because the only political stories the MSM seem interested in covering are the hateful Tea Baggers and Palin’s mindless twitter wars. Sheesh

If they keep repeating it they think, maybe, just maybe it will happen so they can as is now commonplace, blame President Obama. The mediocrity that consitutes the “media” in America is heartbreaking. To prop up this marginally literate and hate-filled woman sarah palin and her silly, childish but very dangerous antics, is to do this country much disservice and actually set it on its path to ruin.

Totally agree with what you say Eleroy re: that Palin person. Re: the upcoming election, let’s prove them wrong; they don’t have a leg to stand on, but we must GOTV.

They are banking on historic precedent. They are also feeding the meme by Amplifing the energy of the Tea Party, and diminishing the successes of the Obama Administration and the Democratic party. The media wields much influence in dictating and directing the
national conversation. We need to prove the media, and the narrow minded wrong. We need to GOTV.

Spot on Sue!! And they do this to attempt to control and manipulate the President to do their bidding. Notice how the polls always seem to reflect what they want and are released like clockwork to torpedo President Obama’s agenda.
